Eh... I'm jumping on the "wtf" boat here. I agree with all of y'all. Mine is staying flat as a flitter in the envelope it arrived within. I am extremely clumsy... and Murphy's Law applies to me most of the time.

I think its funny that so many of us had the same reaction.
Here they make a big deal out of "if you tear it the ticket is void"
Then ask us to fold it?
All I could think is, entrance to Bonnaroo > folded ticket!
i'm not a good arts and crafts person. hence, my ticket will remain like tara reids chest before the boobjob. flat
ba-zing!!
I dont think they had the vision that everyone would show up with the ticket folded. I think that they just wanted to put a little twist on something and switch it up this year. I wouldnt get all bent out of shape over it. It does kinda suck that now the anticipation of WHAT the ticket will look like is gone; however have you seen what other festival tickets look like? Some are just regular ticketmaster tickets. I think as a group we often expect waaaaay too much from Superfly/AC....in 15 days when you are past that gate setting up camp, you arent even going to remember what that ticket looked like, but when you get home and unpack everything, if you chose to fold your ticket and make it 3D, it will be an opportunity to relive some of the memories of the weekend.
I intend to fold my tickets as soon as we get them. Set them up and take pictures. I think the likelyhood of accidently tearing off the stub is very low. The PSA, like most warning lables on products, are to limit liability to the stupid.

I don't understand why the tickets even have stubs. Whenever I go to the Variety Playhouse in ATL, the tickets have stubs, but they just scan them and don't even tear off the stub. Scanning would seem to make stubs obsolete.
And you can print your own tickets to Ticketbastard events, and Roo I've heard. You can print as many tickets as your want, but only the first one scanned will be accepted, so stubs are irrelevant there too. So why have stubs on bar coded tickets at all?
Reposting this from one of the many other ticket threads.....
The tickets in years past have had a tear off stub havent they? Its not added stress unless you dont have the will power to not rip a perforated edge off
Coachella tickets vs bonnaroo tickets....
Im thinking the 3D may have something to do with a way to battle with counterfeits
Not only am I going to fold my ticket, and twist it, and insert it into tab B, I am going to go out on the side of the road and spin it like those sign twirlers do ;D

I mean as long as you dont rip the stub off you should be good
