I've just announced a special 10th Anniversary edition of my 2010 album “Black Sands”. To thank you for being one of my top listeners on Spotify, I’d like to give you access to an exclusive limited edition double cool grey vinyl version, which features a new cover photograph by myself and comes with two additional prints of the original artwork.
This exclusive pressing is limited to 2,000 copies worldwide and is available until November 5th or until supplies last.

Ninja Tune totally f*cked up the rollout of it this morning...Site kept timing out, crashing, and then eventually just redirecting to Bonobo's Bandcamp Page.
So I decided to get the Red Vinyl version, looks just as nice to me as the simple grey version...Ain't nobody got time for refreshing hours on end to get the grey one!
Quickly learning that being a "top listener" on Spotify means you listened to them at least once or twice.
When they had the Metallica 'Kill 'Em All' box set on there, I listened once and got an email that said I was a top fan. To that point, I had never listened to them on there and somehow I was a top fan.
lol just emailed my local store and asked if these things listed on their site were available for pickup...
Old Man Gloom "Christmas" $19.99 (Used. Double LP gatefold on Magic Bullet w/booklet! One disc clear, one disc orange!) Arcade Fire "Suburbs" $29.99 (sealed on Merge) Coltrane, John "Live at the Village Vanguard Again!" $19.99 (1st US Pressing SUPER CHEAP) Grant, Amy "A Christmas Album" $2.99
lol just emailed my local store and asked if these things listed on their site were available for pickup... Coltrane, John "Live at the Village Vanguard Again
OoOOoo this is like a $50/$60 album if it's in decent shape.

that would be sweet. per the site its $20, they have a first pressing thats a lot more so i was just like sure first US press for 20 sounds great.
the store is pretty reasonably priced though, the only things ive got there that were poor quality they had labels that were 'the quality of this record is BAD' and they were really cheap.
i am sort of a sucker for a vintage record to have small fuzz so im not worried if someone looking for pristine quality would pay 60

Coltrane is one of those artists that I go through phases buying. It's not so much its hard to find as I wanna devour what I'm listening too.
My copy of "Again" is VG+ and I dropped about $40 on it (but was in a stack so she cut me a deal). It's a fantastic record.
I've been going back and forth as to what to start shopping for now that Actuel is over. I'm leaning towards Impulse! as the obvious next one. Those original ESP Disk is another option I'm toying with but those orange and black spines are just iconic.

Hope they have it still. Great score.
What’s your feelings on Alice? My dad gave me about 5 of her records (worth a pretty penny).

Essential, imo. I only own Journey in Satchidananda and Universal Consciousness and pull them out a few times a year. Still on a hunt for Cosmic Music (with John) at a decent price. If you have 5 already, thank your dad. He's a scholar and a gentleman. That's about $600 worth and you're well on your way.
I did Turiyasangitananda at Big Ears a few years ago and was blown away. There's so much of her later music I need to explore.

But seriously. Thank your dad.
My dad gave me a bunch of records a while back. Pretty amazing stuff that skews differently from my typical ownership (lots of old country, r&b, jazz) and it’s definitely fun to listen to. I never listened to Hank or Chet before. Never dug into both Coltranes, Charlie Parker, Pharaoh, Bill Evans, Satchmo, and many more before this!

Ooof. Completely forgot yesterday was when registration opened up for Black Friday RSD at my local shop. Was still able to get a reservation for 815 (Second slot. 10 people per slot, 1 person in the store at a time.) Really hoping to pick up Kids See Ghosts, Life on the Murder Scene, and the Drive By Truckers recording.

I'll get to the whole list when life isn't insane but wanted to say that Fahey has me salivating.

Since I'm a Third Man Records vault member I just got an email for early access to new merch in the novelties section. I'm thinking of getting one of these carrying boxes that holds 70 7" singles.
I'm leaning towards the simple black and yellow stripes. Kinda like the Grooves one but since I plan to put my Third Man singles in here I kinda want to stick to the black and yellow. Which of these stands out to you guys?
Found a copy of Person Pitch by Panda Bear in a record store near me. It was $30, which doesn't seem to bad based off what it is selling for on Discogs.

It really is an amazing gift. Some more Monk I left off but nothing too rare. It’s cool to be able to get into this in the format intended and not have to drop a few grand ...

dang, I had no idea it was worth that much. I never listen to my copy

Possibly in the minority here but I love the boldness of the grated one.

Anyone know where to order an out-of-stock ground wire? I need one for a silver colored Technics table (specifically the SL-Q350) that is, ideally, like 8 feet long. I want to move my turntable and my current ground wire isn't long enough.
I've also tried grounding it to an unused pre-amp and plugging that into the same power strip as my receiver but it didn't seem to work. Nor did rearranging the cables. It seems like the ONLY thing that will prevent the table from humming is grounding to the receiver.
