I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THE MAFIA!!!!! We need to move this game along people. If I don't hear from you by 8:00 p.m. Eastern DST I will pick for you and you will kill one of your own.
Crap I was planning on chaging my vote to force the runoff. Whatever makes Roth easier.
This is precisely why I closed voting as soon as I saw everyone had voted and there was a majority skew. If I kept it open we would have the chance of a run off and we are already under the wire for Rothbury. We basically have until Wednesday to finish this game. If we have to pause the game for Rbury I'll be none too happy.
kdogg...he mentioned in a previous post that he would probably change things up for this weekend because of rothbury. don't be so hard on our dear Fisher King.
Still no news? They could have had a runoff by now
No, we would be waiting on people for the run off to close silly.
The Vote:
While the Jackson 4 reunion was in direct conflict with Tenacious D their set was low on the bill and they were set to play This tent. Bacon thought that he would stop by on his way to the Which stage. Unfortunately he never made it. While in route to centeroo aboard a bonnaroo taxi he was sitting in the last seat facing backwards. He never even saw as Meg wound up that Louisville slugger and played bacon baseball with his head. At least he had paid the driver, who was markedly confused when he stopped the cab and had no passenger, in advance. How did she get the bat through the car inspection anyway? ???
The Whack:
It was Sunday night at Bonnaroo 2010, and Higgi was at the Other tent watching the Star Search special in honor of Ed McMahon. He decided to join in the action, and went on stage to sing a song by Celine Dion. Right in the middle of "My Heart Will Go On", people started booing and throwing their glowsticks and trash at him. It was apparent that no "star" was born from this performance. Out of nowhere, a Chinese throwing star was thrown, and cut his face right down the middle, his brain oozing out from his skull. There was no saving Higgi that night.
Night has ended. Day three has begun.
I will close voting as soon s possible. For now the deadline still stands at 6 p.m. eastern DST on Tuesday, but I would like to close it tomorrow if I can.
There's no way Ian was acting alone in that first round. I've been trying to figure out with whom he was in cahoots, and I keep drawing blanks.
This, I have discussed earlier... the list of those who voted with Ian at some point in the first round:
Higgi Rooconteur EAP Handgun
Let's take a look at this list.
Higgi = definitely innocent He died at Mafia hands... not to mention that I had myself a realization about him.
Rooconteur = definitely innocent For one of the same reasons I believe Higgi is definitely innocent.
EAP = probably innocent The fact that the Mafia seemed OK with her dying suggests, but does not confirm, her innocence to me.
Then there's Handgun... I'm not so sure about her anymore. She voted for me in that first round and talked me out of it last round. I think she may have nulled her vote when I called shenanigans on the EAP landslide, not so much because she agreed with me - but because I'd indirectly called her out on that voting behavior. And, I think, voted Rooconteur after I called shenanigans... she'd know he was innocent and on my suspects list, so I'd be more likely to vote for him.
Now, I'm not guaranteeing she is guilty. What I CAN guarantee is that if Ian was in cahoots with someone in voting for me, it wasn't one of the guys... They've both been inquired about and cleared.
I find it hard to believe that Ian had four people voting alongside him, and not one of them was in cahoots with him.
That leaves me with the choice between EAP and Handgun... and I'm pretty sure last round shows me that EAP is innocent.

The fact that EAP and HGH were together with Ian, in the first round makes me think one has to be guilty or both. HGH was the last to vote for EAP, and EAP as the last to vote, period. Almost like they had to get a plan together

kdogg...i fully support your logic, and would mostly agree. but for some reason i'm still feeling uneasy about eap. yes, it looked like mafia was ok with the kill, but what if they duped us? they already knew you had to be someone other than just a townsperson, and as you pointed out, if everyone was voting for the same person, then it meant mafia was voting that way, too.
i dunno...i think we could be falling for something here. we were successfully coaxed into changing our votes from eap to someone else. higgi never once changed his vote...he kept it for eap the whole time...and now he's dead. and we know he was an innocent because of your realization.

O RLY now? May I ask your motivation for spreading such misinformation?
I think Higgi got whacked because a vote for oneself is hard to pin on another player. What were we Townspeople going to do - go after Higgi to avenge Higgi's death?
I think the fact that Higgi got whacked should tell you that: 1. He's innocent, due to death by Mafia. 2. I'm not trying to "coax" anyone into anything by claiming his innocence - that was essentially confirmed by the Mafia last night. If anything, I think his death should lend credibility to my claims.
Now, Hippie, I think it's time you had your turn on the hot seat...
You and Handgun both switched to null votes with me when I called out the EAP shenanigans... everyone else who changed their vote just went ahead and changed their vote. You already knew I was delaying the end of the vote with my nullification... is it that you didn't trust what I'd do with my vote, so you had to keep it open yourself? Was this a stall tactic while you two figured out your backup plan?
Why were you so quick to null your vote for EAP last round when I called out Mafia shenanigans, yet you're right back at it again? What has changed between now and then? The fact that I'm now calling out you & Handgun instead of Roo & Chadd?
From my point of view, you've planted the most seeds of doubt about me this entire game - yet you've been reluctant to raise questions to prove/disprove what I'm saying. Is it that you genuinely don't believe me... or that you don't want people to believe me? I think you should quit tiptoeing around this issue and take the bull by the horns. I know where I stand, and would be more than happy to discredit your false accusations.
Speaking of accusations... one of our departed players privately (and incorrectly) accused me of being Mafia in cahoots with you. I know I'm not alone in seeing something sketchy going on with you...

first things first...
as for higgi's vote...yes, he switched to himself. that doesn't prove ANYTHING about eap's innocence. it just means HE was confused. he didn't switch to anyone he thought was guilty...just himself. could eap not have been worried about higgi being on her case? seems plausible to me, and to as well since you pointed out it would be hard to point fingers.
as for ME in the hotseat...fine...put me there. i'm innocent and don't have anything to hide. i nulled my vote because i trusted you most at that point. you seem to be more than a townsperson, so why wouldn't i follow your lead? i wasn't the ONLY one who did...so why call ME out?
and you haven't called me out AT ALL up until this very post, so your theory that i'm pissed because you're calling me out now is null...i posted before you did.
and what seeds of doubt have i planted that no one else has had? its a game where a select few are forced to lie. of course i'm not going to believe everything i hear right away. that would be a little ridiculous, and i've played this game long enough to know things are never how they seem. but up until now i HAVE believed and/or sided with you.
also...your last part seems to indicate you are corresponding with people outside the game. someone PRIVATELY let you know something? the only people who you can converse about the game with you are those still in it(meaning if the departed talked to you, you're cheating), or through private pm with your fellow mafia.
which leads me to MY theory. let's put YOU in the hotseat since you haven't been there either...
how do we know kdogg is so innocent? sure he seems to have been exonerating player after player, but we also have cajun's claim before kdogg said ANYTHING about being inspector. kdogg said higgi was innocent, and then higgi dies. it's already been shown in past mafia games that killing one of their own overnight almost won them the game(i would know...i helped make that decision). how do we know that's not happening here? going by this theory, i would suspect kdogg, roo, and higgi. they've killed higgi to make kdogg look innocent, and now he's exonerating roo so we wander even further away from the truth.
The only reason I was suspicious of higgi was that he said you guys were on the right track when everyone was voting for me. I didn't see how he could know that for sure. It was the right track for mafia, bc they were having such an easy time killing me, a townsperson. Now obviously this was not true.
I personally don't know who to be suspicious of still. Are we for sure saying ian was mafia???

eap...can you give me a convincing argument as to why you're innocent? at this point i'm lost seeing as how i'm incredibly suspicious of the one person i thought we could all trust at this point.
Hippie, I promise you my innocence. There isn't any vote where I've gone along with the majority, except bacon bc I had to save myself.
I too, have doubted kdogg a little especially bc I have never played with him before and he is rather long winded. I also find it suspicious that he never says anything about kel. BUT he also helped save me, which I don't think he would do if he was mafia.
I am starting to think I'm not very good at this game. Haha.
