If anyone has a cart or wagon suitable for hauling gear from cars to camp, bring it. I'm gonna come up with something along those lines. Fans (AC or battery powered) might help too. I'll have a deep cycle battery and a couple of inverters.

I'm gonna have a lot of heavy stuff and really hope to camp as close to my truck as possible. I don't want to drag my ez up and coolers anywhere if I can help it. Meeting up ahead of time would be great if possible. If we could get a caravan and keep it together through check in we'd be alright. Dale I know that you will already be there volunteering. It might be easier for us to get in as a caravan and then you can meet up with us and move your tent from volunteer camping. Just a thought. I don't what to expect when we get there.

I think yer on the right track there. We'll be in contact by text when it comes down, it worked well there last year for me.

Sadly, she's informed me she won't be able to make it this year, but promises to be there next year. I'm working on getting her to Bear Creek Fest in Live Oak, FL in Nov. There's gonna be a Camp InfoBear there. So start planning for that too.

That's great, just got your PM, was about to PM you before that. So far, we have you, Fishingmaniac, and rooter needing to get together for the ride in Thursday. Waiting to hear from Clairity and phat clam as to the phone list. We've got several camping separately but coming by camp.

That should be sufficient.
Also, I'll have one of those coleman one-burner stoves, the kind where the burner just screws to the top of the gas bottle and it has a round plastic base that fits over the bottom of the bottle. I'm planning on eating of lot of canned goods this time, since I'll be there so long and don't want to have to buy a lot of ice all weekend. It's hard enough just keeping the beer cold enough to drink.

That purple Bubble Typhoon is my favorite of all the bubble machines I've ever had, really lives up to it's name!
Good to know. I had both in good working order a month after AG '08. They've been abused since, by grandkids and friends of. I just recovered them yesterday. Gonna try another refurbish tomorrow.

I know it's probably being held as a last minute announcement on the AG website, but I think it's about time to go ahead and admit you're coming with FM. I know you're not giving this up just to get to Voodoo. I'm finding it hard to believe you're gonna trust him to make it down there alone.

Actually I was trying to get my fishing buddy (also named Paul) to come to this. I know he has the money (lives rent free) and he's a school teacher so he has the time off. But alas, he said no. I could bring Kangaroo if anybody wants to buy him a ticket.
