Dude. That sucks. After all of the effort you put into Camp infogood. That so sucks. I hope that you manage a way. If I didn't have an important meeting tomorrow I'd call in sick and pick you up. Bummer.

Wow that would be a road trip. I just did a brief calculation considering I know where you both live, and it is actually conservative.

I'm drinking "Chillable Red" wine from a box at room temperature (the temperature of the room is higher than optimal). Here are some of my resulting thoughts.
I'm not a hunter, even though hunting is very popular around here, and the immeadiate area has an extremely high deer population. I tried hunting in the past and there were some aspects of it that were fun, but I just don't get pleasure from killing animals, although I do eat meat. I just prefer to let someone else take care of the killing and butchering. But I'm starting to wonder if maybe deer are evil, like demons or something that are out to get me and everyone else who drives. I usually am thinking about and watching for them when I drive around here, esp. on the county-maintained road I live on. I sometimes see deer in 3 or more places on one trip to town, and have hit at least 5 or 6 in the last 15 years, although most did minor or no damage, because they were at low speed. There are enough deer to justify people spending $30 - 40,000 for one year's hunting rights on my family's land. (I don't currently get a share of this windfall). But last night, I was in a rush and wasn't thinking about deer and that's when they get you. Fucking.evil.bastards.
You are all gonna have a great time at All Good (although not nearly as great as you would if I were there). Someone has to dos Maniac. I was gonna do it myself, now it's time for somebody to step up.
Next year, I'm thinking about buying a ticket at first tier pricing, or if I volunteer, doing post-fest so I can ride in with Camp InfoGood. Attendance for Camp InfoGood '09 members will be mandatory for 2010, so go ahead and plan for it as soon as you get back. I'm sure you'll want to do that anyway.

If anybody has the capability to email pix from the mountaintop, I'd like to see some from Camp InfoGood live. Just text me and I'll give you my email.
my friend jwkeene and i are currently sitting at the morgantown wal-mart with several other possible all gooders sleeping around us. a group of disgusting wooks just left the area after breaking glass and tossing beer cans everywhere.

I thought you were gonna go live in van down by the river this weekend?

Yeah, but I'll be testing the cellular internet signal while there. Notebook and deep-cycle will be with me. I already know it works at the boat ramp, just not sure about the sandbar across the river and 100 yards downstream yet.

Thanks for the report. How are you getting on-line?

green sparkly cheap plastic, this is from someone I texted inside. I'm not there.
And I am at Camp InfoGhettoGoodCouch with my friends Buddyweiser and Corncat doing the same
So, Maniac's phone stopped "sending or receiving" texts a couple hours ago... I take that as an EXCELLENT sign
LES on in a few!!!
edit* Todd Snyder's a very likeable guy
Yeah, I saw Todd at the Paste Magazine Music Fest at Variety Playhouse in ATL a couple years ago. I downloaded a shitload of his live stuff before Roo if yer interested.
Son and GF just got here, may not stay tonight, goin somewhere tomorrow and may come back after. Seem to be afraid the water's to cold to cross, but it's about as warm as it ever gets, I think she's just makin excusess. I just went acroos and talked to them a sec, but they haven't followed me back yet.
My buddy may show up, but I'll probably be down here alone most of the night, which is fine with me. Got some other friends who rode down here with me and went to watch fireworks that night who'd love to be here, but have no transportation. I'll probably pick them up tomorrow.

Agreed, good sign he's got better things to do, but I do miss the updates. Oh well, they'll come later.
