Hope it's oklahoma "fingers crossed" They hold festivals in Pryor, Oklahoma every year, one is a 80 hairmetal fest called Rocklahoma, one is Country Fever, and a biker rally called Bikelahoma, Phishlahoma would be effin sweet. The turnout this year for most of them won't be very good and Country Fever bombed because it was "red dirt country" bands without any drawing headliners. They could definately use the money.

I think some good possibilities of artists they could hit would be Hendrix, Bowie, Jackson (too obvious, maybe?), or perhaps a more planned out, and put-together cover of a Floyd album... although that's probably just wishful thinking on my part. I could see The Clash too, though.

If it's within a 12 hour drive (pretty much east of the mississippi) I'm there. If it is in Indio, which I'm pretty sure ii true, there's just too many rumors that it is, I'll be holding out for the NYE run.
Flying in and camping is just too messy. Tent, shade tent, cooler, sleeping gear, etc just doesn't work for me over a flight.
So the assumption is when this happens we will all be there regardless of how many infants it will take us selling on the black market?
;D Hey man, whatever it takes, I feel like I HAVE to be there, I will be so heartbroken if I'm not. In fact, I've only been talking about it as if I am going, even though we don't know where it is yet (southeast would be my personal preference). And I would totally be down for a London Calling cover.
I'm thinking I need to just go ahead and tell myself I won't be able to make it, to save disappointment later once all the details are released. This is looking to be probably a $200+ ticket I'd imagine, plus any of the rumored locations are so far away from me...
I guess I should just start lookin forwards to hearing the SBDs before anyone who's there?
hope this isnt too long of a process. why why why does it have to be at the Coachella grounds... that is the worst possible location for me. O well wherever it is i feel that i must be there.
Hope they announce other dates when the location of the fest is announced so people have options.

I really believe we can say with 100% certainty that this will not be held on the farm in Manchester. I mean, they just played there.... twice! There'd be no reason for them to come back and play there again for an entire weekend. That would mean TN would be getting three shows and a PHestival, which is just way too much for one state.
I'm holding out hope for a New Years gig at Big Cyprus

It's at Coachella.
Everything I'm hearing about New Years' Eve is saying Miami.
If it is at the Coachella grounds do you think they will have the obnoxious rules they also have at Coachella. Also we are discounting that farm in TX from the promotional video. In all fairness though everything I have been hearing has been coachella as well.

As strange as it sounds to say this... Phish has been rather rule-abiding so far with their tour in 09. They haven't really pushed the limits with any curfews whatsoever... even at Roo they ended pretty much right on time. I'm not too familiar with the obnoxious Coachella rules cause I've never looked into them, but I'd imagine that they won't be changing too much for Phish if they come by. But this no alcohol rumor I've heard is quite a drag if that were to hold up

^^But do bands start past midnight at Coachella? It seems that without some late night set that it kinda takes away from the Phish festival aspect of it a bit...
