That was crazy. ya the ants must be a hint...so will every other way they get rid of states. i still refuse to believe its at INDIO. But i kinda know it is

i really hope that the ANTS don't insinuate or hint at Dave Mathews Band being with them. which actually I guess I could just Google DMB tour dates and see if that is an option.
a boat took away kansas and ohio---possibly a hint that it's going to be on the coast?
and for my own hopefulness the boat appeared on the east coast i'm praying its not california and REALLY praying that its at big cypress-they haven't played florida yet....
It's in Indio, and they're constantly giving us clues:
Indio has had a historical association with fire ants. Also, the boat may be a nod to "The Lost Ship of the Desert," a Spanish galleon that was apparently half-buried in the sands of Indio. Indio's well known as fertile growing grounds for dates...and what do you know, the festival may actually be called "Save The Date".
One guy on Jamtopia suggests that the way the first states disappeared may suggest some sort of underground water plume; the exact type of plume that is said to exist underneath the Coachella Valley...which could possibly endanger the dates corner of the agriculture market..hence, "Save the Date."
What does everyone think/hope they do for the costume? Anyone think they might change it up a little? 2 different costumes? or 2 albums by the same band? or maybe a live album like allman bros @fillmore?
the albums i would like to see covered. admittedly some of these are more plausible than others. also i am excluding pink floyd, beatles, since theyve been done and it makes my decision easier:

this just seems really odd. maybe you aren't being serious, but i really do not see this happening. if it did i can't imagine the crowd response.
edit: i guess you were being serious..just found an article where trey said that in rolling stone. either way i still am not sure about the crowd reaction. i wonder how the female vocals would sound?
Apparently there is going to be a pretty hefty drive for me, if I'm not out completely. I'm in Indiana and it's a little orange island in the middle of the gray. I don't hold out any hope that they would have it here. *sigh*
A Segway? The Segway is the brainchild of a former WPI student (located in Massachusetts), and earlier there was the ship that took away several states and looked eerily like the Mayflower (which landed in Massachusetts), and they opened their touring of Phish 3.0 at Fenway (located in Massachusetts), and they rehearsed at the DCU Center (in Massachusetts). Face it people, they're doing it in Massachusetts.
So apparently the latest rumor is that the Phest will be held in Dateland Arizona at a decomissioned army base. This makes more sense than Indio. Phish fests have mostly been held at old military sites.
