Sorry folks, I was out at my friend's ranch with limited reception and then dancing the night away at ghostland observatory (where I stood next to elijah wood, who was enjoying quite a bit of corn ).

I tried to make it clear I didn't include your vote. I figured "Higgi >>> ???" was sufficient.
I guess I underestimated Higgi's corniness.
actually therein lies the problem, because as I noticed my plunder, I again was corned out. I really just wanted a runoff, but all well, we're on too the next round.
After several hours of inching down the road, EAP and her crew finally arrive at a security checkpoint. Three individuals with hats tipped low and SECURITY printed on their t-shirts ask them to step out of the vehicle so it can be searched. For a few moments they rifle around in the car, but EAP isn't worried because she knows her goods are well hidden. They are all so busy looking at their new surroundings that they don't notice the small package placed under the drivers seat by the stealthy search guy. When they move on from the checkpoint, EAP remarks that this is the last leg of the journey to heaven. Appropriately, the package beneath her seat explodes, killing her instantly.
Now hand me your corn for safe-keeping. I can't let you do this to yourself anymore.

and may I just say, only a mafiosi would try to take someone's corn away for their own personal use.
I am going to keep my vote with Higgi. I know, I am a townsperson, and now I know EAP was too. The Mafia wouldn't kill their own the first night. Her and I were the only two to vote, Higgi, so it makes him seem the most Mafia like, right now!

well kel, going by that logic, you and higgi always vote for each other, so why is that weird? i dunno, i just think you're making it too simple.
^ I never said anything was weird. I am just stating what I think right now, and it's all I have to go off of. I am open to any ideas from anyone, but no one has said anything. So, I thought I would be the first to say what I thought. I know Higgi and I always vote each other, that has nothing to do with my post!

i just think for as sneaky as higgi has played the game, he would be a little more cautious than to kill off someone who voted for him. i'd be more apt to think it's a setup this early on.
or, that's exactly what he wants us to think. gah!
Note that there are three main factions here; the vast majority split between two leading contenders. I suspect the Mafia lined up behind one of the leading vote-getters to defend their comrade. The fact that third-place Higgi had only two votes makes me think Mafia weren't involved in that voting bloc. It also explains why EAP got whacked - killing a Higgi voter would be less telling at this point of the game.
I suspect one of the two leading contenders in this vote is/was Mafia... I'm just not sure which one.
I think both Trillbill and Bacon each have a 50-50 shot at being Mafia. If they both die, I figure one Mafia and one Townsperson have been killed. Why only go 50% in on a 100% chance of killing off a Mafia?
