and may I just say, only a mafiosi would try to take someone's corn away for their own personal use.
This is SO not true... take it from a guy who's had his corn taken by concert security in the past, but at the same time was allowed to keep his corn cob pipe. Not to mention the occasional newspaper article you see about a police evidence room turning out to be missing a few things.
I'm just saying... one can take someone's corn while being on the "right" side of the law. It's not just Mafia.
I am keeping my vote with Higgi. I know for a fact that Mafia will vote off one of their own in a run off, to not look suspicious. So, the only votes I am going off of right now is who voted for Higgi, bc that's who got whacked. And Kdogg, you say we kill off one townsperson and one mafia, assuming Trill was Mafia. It seems to be like Trill and Bacon were both invovled in what looks like a vote stacking, which the Mafia loves to do.

Yes! That's exactly it! The vote stacking tells me ONE of these two should be Mafia... but which one?
Seeing as I know it's got to be one of them, it just seems prudent to take them both out knowing one of them is the right choice.
I know this method is guaranteed to be as accurate as a coin flip. It's entirely possible Trillbill was Mafia, and in voting Bacon we're going after an innocent. In that case, I'm being counter-productive to the Townspeople's ends.
However, I know there's a 100% chance of killing a Mafia by voting them both off. We're guaranteed a 50-50 shot at killing a Mafia by voting Bacon - just as there's a 50-50 chance we already killed a Mafia by voting Trillbill.
Compare that to the odds of we Townspeople being correct in our guesswork about another Mafia. I figure it's 2-in-9 either way. With Bacon, I know I've got better odds based on more solid logic.
If we kill a guaranteed Mafia between these two, at the end of two rounds we will still have 2 Mafia & 5 Townspeople. Sure, we know we will have also killed a Townsperson... but this is inherent to the game. Can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs.
Forced to choose between the two, I would suspect Trillbill based on the EAP whack. Higgi cast the deciding vote against Trillbill - then the Mafia whacked someone who voted for Higgi. I think the Mafia is trying to set him up to look guilty in retaliation.
My vote for Bacon is not set in stone... but anyone who's going to convince me otherwise has to prove a better-than-50% likelihood of another player being Mafia for me to do so.

Is this in reference to the game you/Hippie/Ian won as Mafia? You two threw him under the bus before the first round was over!
I think that situation was unrepresentative of business as usual.
The more I think about it, and read your post. The more I am starting to wonder if you and higgi aren't working together. You guys both voted Trill, who could be innocent, for all I know.

I'm in this game to hunt Mafia, not defend them. After watching the first round, I determined two who are most likely Mafia. Since I'm not sure which is which, I think the safest course of action is to get rid of both suspects. I agree with you that Trillbill could be the innocent one & Bacon could be the Mafia - that's why I am voting for Bacon.
I've laid out what I think is happening. Higgi is involved, but he is not the primary actor I am looking at. He's related to what's going down because the recently deceased cast a vote for him. I think EAP's whacking is related to Higgi's vote killing Trillbill.
If I'm looking at Higgi at being innocent, it is only because I came to that mindset while trying to read into Mafia motives. My brain's analysis tells me it's 50-50 on both Trillbill & Bacon. My gut feeling tells me EAP getting whacked points to Trillbill.

If the Mafia wants me to look at it as making Trillbill look suspicious, I am still fine with voting Bacon.

I'm pretty sure that entire rambling hot mess of an explanation made no sense to anyone I make a horrible townsperson. I am a flip flopper. I am most likey going to change my vote when I feel like making some sense.

kdogg...i've read through your posts a few times, and i guess i'm just confused. why do trillbill and bacon HAVE to be one or the other? why couldn't they both be innocent? or both be mafia?
Good question... I suppose there would be those possibilities.
The fact that the person who got whacked voted for the person who cast the deciding vote leads me to suspect that the vote touched the Mafia in some way.

okay so yes, the mafia has been known to kill off one of their own in the first round but I def do not believe that happened here. I think what we have here is a simple case of vote stacking. When the votes were tied between bill/bacon, higgi said he was voting for bacon but then he typed trill. I do not believe this was an act of corn but a plot to be the last vote... the sway vote, especially if it came down to a situation where he needed to protect himself. Although higgi voted for someone, he was technically the last to vote and sealed the deal to killtrillbill.
This doesn't necessarily mean bacon is mafia... I think if bacon was mafia I would have died last night because I started the initial vote for him and sticked with it because I believe it to be fair but the mafia would probably have put me as a number one suspect as the inspector (which I am not, btw).
I think he played us and tried to confuse us and I don't trust it at all. I have seen people pull shenanigans like this before and everyone rallied against them but everyone seems to be okay with it....except for kel.

How can you be sure that was over her run-off vote for Higgi, and not her initial vote for Handgun? She's quite constant in her voting for Handgun. I can see where, if Handgun were Mafia, she would want to get EAP out of the way sooner rather than later...
