I want to put this out there preemptively, in case I don't get to log on again before Bacon votes and KDogg closes the voting:
If Bacon votes for me, giving me three votes to his two and thus killing me, then I want to change my vote to Bacon in the interest of self-preservation, him being my nearest rival. If he votes for someone else, then I want to keep my vote for Rooconteur.
The vote tally is wrong I'm not quite sure where but it is still wrong. I would fix it but I have class and no time. I don't want to vote until it's been fixed to make sure I don't get screwed. It seems to me there are to many votes but I only looked at it for five seconds. Sorry for the hold-up.
Fact: kdogg posts more vote tallies in games which he is not affiliated with than those which he is the ref.
Fact: kdogg worked three shifts between two jobs over the past two days, including sixteen hours of double duty yesterday. So kiss my ass and start saving up for my Rule 13 beer.

Ok thanks for the tally update I knew there had to be something wrong. After, Jack changed his vote I figured he probably isn't inspector as I implied making Swampy clear for now.

I'm only going to be around for a minute here and there until later tonight, but I want to look at this a little closer before voting ends. I'll vote this afternoon or tonight, but for now, I'm nulling my vote.

Townspeople, you're making a huge mistake. This is classic mafia vote stacking in the early rounds, before anyone has any idea what's going on. The first round, when no one has any idea who's who, the mafia generally selects an innocent who's been accused by another innocent and jumps on the bandwagon. This gives the mafia a decided advantage in the first couple rounds, because they've then increased their lead over the townspeople by knocking off a few of their enemies. They confuse the townspeople, and then by the time that most of them have realized what's going on, it's too late, because the mafia has become that much stronger in the mean time.
You can let them pull the wool over your eyes, or you can stop and think for a minute. What exactly have I done to arouse your suspicion so early on in the game? Four votes is a very strong tally for a first round vote - I find it impossible to believe that all of those voting for me are townspeople. Not only does it go against basic statistics, but it also defies traditional mafia tactics that we've seen in previous games. And not a single one of those who voted for me has given a valid reason as to why they voted for me - and no, coin tosses don't count.
I have to leave to go to my class at 4:00, and then I have to go see some play tonight, so KDogg, could you please keep voting open until tonight so I can have a chance to properly defend myself when I get back?

Jack, I nulled my vote because I wasn't sure if I wanted to change from bacon to you. I don't have much time right now -- I'm having to be sneaky right now just to post this -- but I'll keep my vote null until later tonight when I get home around 10 or 11 because I want to see what you have to say.

So, adding to what I said earlier, not a single one of you can point to a legitimate reason as to why you think I'm mafia. I was singled out by Salamander in the first round, before I'd even said a word.
Here's a recap of everything I've said and everything that's been said against me thus far:

Salamander is the first person to vote for me, admittedly simply because of a game of chance. A completely irrational method of determining who's mafia, but I decided to let it slide, because there's really no rhyme nor reason in the first round of voting anyway. I thought he seemed a bit too "jokey" to be mafia at first, so I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and cast my vote for another player - a poor choice in retrospect, given that it didn't change his mind about me at all, and simply fueled speculation about whether I was mafia.
So I then cast my vote for Swamp Witch, because I was kind of at a loss and really had no idea who to vote for. She had said so little, it seemed like she might be hiding something.

This is where I first started to raise an eyebrow. Rooconteur picked me because Salamander picked me, and Salamander picked me because October picked me, and October picked me in a game of chance. Something seemed fishy about it all, and Rooconteur's statement was the one that really didn't sit well with me.
I am a bit confused right now. Its is common custom when someone votes for you in the first round to respond by voting for them initially at least even if you intend to change said vote latter. Jack responded to Sal voting for him by voting for Swamp Witch. I don't quite know what to make of this. I would say Jack probably has some inside information. Either way I think that makes Swampy a good candidate for mafia.
In all fairness, I don't have any inside info. I'm just an ordinary townsperson. It might make sense for me to vote for Salamander because he voted for me, but I don't vote that way. I generally don't reciprocate votes just because someone voted for me; I have to believe that they're truly mafia. Salamander doesn't seem to be acting like a typical mafia player... yet. In fact, no one is at this point. Now, I was the inspector before KDogg re-assigned the roles. But now I don't have any inside info.
I thought it was an odd move on Jack's part, too. I was going to let it go for now because I was guessing he voted for me so as not to be someone's second vote early on in the first round.

My vote for Swamp Witch was random, as they always are in the first round. But I also chose to vote for someone without any votes so it didn't seem like I was aligning myself with any other player.

At the time, I didn't think Salamander was guilty, a judgment I've since come to reconsider. So I gave him the benefit of the doubt at first, thinking he seemed more like a misguided townsperson than a scheming mafioso.
Well, October's not playing the game. In fact, she doesn't even belong to the board. For all I know, she doesn't exist, and Salamander was just creating her (or at least the situation) to make it appear as though his vote was effectively decided by someone other than himself, when really, it was all Salamander.

This statement just didn't sit right - Strum's manner of speech feels unnatural to me. "Hunches with no basis" is redundant and seems kind of forced, whereas "just your typical" and "I suppose" seem to his way of shifting the burden of proof away from himself by claiming that it relied on chance.
Then Higgi voted for me. At this point I'm still trying to figure out whether Higgi is a misguided townsperson or a mafia member.
Townspeople, I urge you, do NOT believe their lies. They want conflict to exist between you, so that they can divide and conquer. Make no mistake about it. We've seen it before and we'll surely see it again. In case I get deep-sixed, I want to say that my main suspects for mafia are Salamander, Baconus66, Strum, and Roo - and yes, I realize not all four can be mafia, but I'd be willing to bet that at least two of them are.
