I don't know if I will be traveling for Wilco this year - just saw them twice here, and am seeing them in Madison in February - but that looks like a nice run of shows! Have fun everyone!

Grrrrrr, the Wellmont BLOWS, and can be a b*tch to get to from NYC
SO glad I got to see them at NYC's GREATEST outdoor venue last summer, Keyspan Park! Absolutely the BEST non-festival show I've been to since Jan 1st 2009... maybe this Summer they'll hit up Prospect or Central Park? (Prospect would be cooler...)
DC is the hardest market to get. I didn't score DC but did good on Durham & Richmond.
If all else fails Bunny go to Richmond.
Wonder how Sass did?
And Yay for the people that did.
There's always the general on-sale, which is Friday at 10:00 AM, via Ticketbastard please please please baby jesus
Have you been to Strathmore? I saw Bela & the Flecktones there last fall. It's really beautiful with awesome acoustics. I liked it a lot. Not large at all. They could have easily sold out a much larger venue. But I like that they switch it up. Wolf Trap last year, and the 9:30 before that. I just love this band.
And the pre-party is always at this super divey bar called Hank Dietle's. Must be seen to be belived. A complete dump, smack in the middle of Bethesda. It's awesome in it's grimyness.
Don't know about Sass. But she has good karma, so I'd bet she'll be there.
I'm pretty pissed right now. I was on at 10 am sharp this morning and tickets were already gone. The reason? Scalper sites. One site was able to get 100+ tickets for the Durham show and is selling them for, at minimum, three times face value. Ticketmaster and the venue, DPAC, owe it to fans to revoke all of the tickets these sites were able to claim and make them available solely by phone or box office, with phone orders being will call

Sass's karma took a vacation day Friday! Up all night with a sick dog and completely spaced on the Strathmore onsale. Can I get a GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR?!? Doesn't look like I had a shot though, as many people say tix were sold out at 10:01 a.m.
I did get tix for both shows at the Wellmont, and I'm trying for Philly in a few minutes. If anyone happens upon an extra for Richmond (or Strathmore), I'd be interested!
Y'all. I am also doing a Jeff Tweedy Living Room Show this year. Best Christmas present EVER? I think so!
I know, this sale is kind of shameful. I was sick to my stomach looking at Craigslist and ebay yesterday. Hopefully I'll see some Wilco karma on the other two shows I'd like to catch...I had a ticket for the sold out Tipitina's show that made it on to Ashes of American Flags and I sold it for face on Craigslist. People thought I was running a scam. How sad is that?
It's alright. Just majorly bummed. Favorite band. Seen them every year since 2004. I'm going to try and set up an interview with someone from the band for the college radio station I work at. Maybe I can get some tix through the label

I hate scalpers, but how do you get around it? I've been to a few small shows (Sufjan Stevens) where you had to show your id at the door and didnt get your ticket until you were walking in the venue, but it was a pain in the ass. I guess the only real way around it is for people to stop buying from scalper sites.
