I think LeBron gets his 4th MVP trophy this season. Rockets beat Warriors in the West finals. Cavs over Rockets in the Finals with LeBron MVP of Finals.
And for local flair, Pelicans get the 7 seed and lose first round to Rockets in 5 games. AD and Boogie both finish the season averaging over 25 points and 10 rebounds.
Time to check in on the progress of my predictions.
The Cavs have a LOT of work to do to make this turn out true. However, if LeBron can right the ship, it would help his case for MVP. He's currently 5th in scoring and 4th in assists, so not too bad.
Rockets and Warriors seem destined for the West finals.
Pelicans are currently the 7th seed.
AD and Boogie are exceeding even what I thought were lofty expectations. Boogie is 4th in scoring at 28.7, and 3rd in rebounds at 13.8. AD is 6th at scoring with 27.3, and 5th in rebounds at 12.1. They look like they'll both destroy 25 and 10.

What is cool about college basketball is that a team like Kentucky has seven freshmen and a team like Kansas has a senior named Sviatoslav. You can win with different styles.

Any hope of Siena being decent this season was smashed to bits in the loss to FGCU on Monday.
Clareth took himself out of the game mentally at the end of the first half and behaved so poorly for a Captain. It was disappointing.
Listening to one of the assistant coaches completely tear his players apart on the post game radio show was the only plus side. Those guys need to get it together.
I know and truly he deserves it because he's been balling out, but as a Mavs fan, i haven't had this much fun watching us lose in a really long time. His shooting % will go up with experience but you can't teach that aggressiveness he plays with.

he's good, its a bummer lol. i'm also having a lot of fun watching y'all lose! its been a while.
Mavs should be in a great position after this year. DSJ looks pretty great so far. Young pieces are getting experience. Top five coach in the league, and the more they lose, the closer they get to Doncic, Bagley, Porter, etc.

Yeah its still hard seeing Dirks (more than likely) last year be a year where we are rebuilding. It'll be good though in the sense that we shouldn't be a losing team for long with DSJ and Porter leading the squad next year. And who's your squad?

I think Carlisle gets a bad rap for working with young guys but if you look back the only young guy who was good enough to get steady minutes was Crowder. The other young guys we have had in the past are hardly NBA players. DSJ is the first real game changer we have drafted in a long time! So even though I'm not a fan of tanking, i would love the 1st pick of the draft. Bagley is okay he's just not really gonna give you anything on Defense and after years of Dirk not really playing stellar D, id like someone who could contribute on that end. Porter is exciting and I need to watch more tape on Doncic to see what all he brings. Im also a big fan of Deandre Ayton.
