I bet they beat both of those teams this year, head to head and by wins. They're better offensively, they're more athletic, Saric, Embiid, JJ, Covington, TJ, Amir, all proven players. They will also likely have the ROY (whether it be Simmons or a late surging Fultz). They've definitely got most aspects of a good team checked off, good coach, a star player, a play making wing, good 3 pt shooting, post defense, post offense, wing defense, idk I really think they're being underrated because of memes and concern about embiids health
Wouldn't call any of those dudes proven besides Reddick and Covington. Embiid's played like 30 games in three years. Fultz looks bad. They'll be similar to last years Timberwolves. Too young.

The Sixers' success is heavily dependent on Embiid being healthy, and that alone means I'll just wait and see. It would be fun if they were good, but they may still be a couple years away.
I think LeBron gets his 4th MVP trophy this season. Rockets beat Warriors in the West finals. Cavs over Rockets in the Finals with LeBron MVP of Finals.
And for local flair, Pelicans get the 7 seed and lose first round to Rockets in 5 games. AD and Boogie both finish the season averaging over 25 points and 10 rebounds.

I like Jokic, and he's fun to watch, but so is 7-8 three-point shooting with 56 points and 13 assists in 35 minutes. Explain that with flopping. You said yourself the rules have already been changed to supposedly limit Harden specifically, and he had his best scoring game since then. The Rockets traded their entire bench for Chris Paul, who immediately got hurt, and Harden has them in the one-seed 11 games in. I understand that he might get fouled occasionally. That's kinda the thing when no one can guard you.
