Why would he ever go there? Or any small conference school?
I don't know if any power five school would take a chance on him at this point, but maybe some mid-major would. I heard rumors about URI, but I doubt that one too.
The main fact is that he would never come here. Even if we were interested in him, and he knew/was prepared for the massive paycut he'd have to take, we couldn't afford him. We're lucky we got rid of Patsos for what we did (only had to buy out 1 year of his remaining 3). The rumor was started by some local asshole that thinks he's friend's with Pitino because they own a race horse together.
We pushed Patsos out over allegations that he verbally abused a mentally-ill student manager and withheld per diem funds from players/student managers. Why anyone here thinks going from Patsos to Pitino is good move for the school's PR is beyond me. Although, I do find humor in picturing Pitino having to start from the bottom again.
We want Pat Beilein. His D2 LeMoyne team beat Siena at home last year. The big rumor surrounding him is that he was told that Siena would be pushing Patsos out and offering him the job. That's why Beilein turned down the Marist job. I would also be happy if we got Andrew Francis (Fran McCaffery's assistant that followed him to Iowa). Francis was with Fran when we three-peated the conference tournament. He knows what this program is capable of and what it takes to get us there. I just am unsure of his recruiting capabilities.
I don't really hate Lillard, but between him killing us a few year ago, and his constant underdog-but not really attitude, I'm loving how much he's shit the bed this series.

I don’t see it. I’d love to play them with Curry and us having Cousins. They can’t really defend us inside and obviously we can’t defend all their 3 options. I think we will get a win or two, but I don’t see us beating them in a series.

It’s alright. We went cold. We already know what we can do to y'all if you watch games. We had 20+ up in a couple and only one one of 4 but fuck that home cooking Kenny Powers bullshit. We are losing by bad play but you can see 28 Fts v 8. It’s pretty fucked and obvious that we wouldn’t win. But I will hope for some home cooking to pile on these cocky assholes next week.

I was a little concerned about being tested by the Jazz but holy balls did the Rockets destroy them today, slight-comeback aside.
Had five bucks on the Pacers to win outright, because I think these Cavs are pretty bad. I'd still put the Cavs probability of making the finals at like 15-20% (it's that high because the East is still not awesome). They seem really bad. It's like LeBron got traded to the Wolves instead of Love to the Cavs.
