i was at the sixers game last night. that was the most frustrating and worst officiated game i have ever been to. talk about getting robbed. not to mention having to play with only 1 day off after a long west coast trip.
Y’all in that hunt though. We could be anywhere 4-8 at the end. Tough schedule for us with a lot of teams involved in playoff scenarios - Celtics, Suns, Tragic, Spurs, Suns, Blazers, Kings, Warriors, Lakers. Hopefully we get Dice back tomorrow or Monday but we need BI to make any noise. He got some on court work today but who knows if it’s 1 week or 3? Our seeding will come down to whether we can get him back.

the MVP is back and leads us to a big win! 2 games behind the pacers for the 6 seed. hoping the loser nets can take at least 1 of these next 2 from them while we get the heat next

Man… the playin tourny is such a fucking W. Adds so much drama to the regular season. I was so skeptical at first. The east 3-7 right now is so razor tight with 3 options - home court real spot, no home court real spot, play in. Magic could very easily have any one of those 3, and Im checking all the other teams games every night and on the edge of my seat for each of our final 15 - 20 games here as its been tight for a while.
And just to finish the point, I will be so massively dissapointed if we land at 7, which is so so so possible even though we are at 4 now. I never conceptualized how much worse a playin spot is than a real spot until being faced with it.
personally, i think the play in is the dumbest shit ever. the 9 and 10 seed have no business playing for a spot in the playoffs but its a way for the league to limit some tanking. they have lucked out with a lot of good teams/stars being part of it though.

they should get rid of conferences tbh. The play-in west teams would prob all have home court advantage if they got to play in the garbage east.

I probably agree though I do enjoy the thought of teams paying for not taking the regular season seriously.

oh please. the east has had a lot of injuries. its been relatively equal for a while now overall. East took a hit when MVP went down and Rives was hired. Not to mention the key injuries to the knicks, heat and cavs

I don't get what's the argument against best 16 teams? the east teams get to beat up on all the shitty bottom feeders in their conference and they still all suck. top 16 teams would make for a much more interesting playoffs and the east has been worse for decades so makes sense from a competitiveness and entertainment standpoint. They should let the one seed pick their 1st round opponent, then two seed, and so on too.
