Interesting thought experiment. Just how many picks would the Sixers have to attach in a Tobias Harris sign-and-trade, if such a thing were even workable under the CBA.
KD is 34 or 35 so probably at least 3 firsts and a pick swap or 2 with Harris, Council, and Reed (if we lose to NY his contract becomes non guaranteed).
Not enough.
Age isn't a point of leverage in a guy you are actively trying to acquire.
we back! Maxey has been the best player in this series and still cant get a whistle bcuz he doesnt flail around like brunson
and i strongly think the suns move someone, they cant go forward with that roster after getting swept and the new lux tax rules kicking in. im sure they will try to convince beal to go first but he has a NTC

NTC barely matters. He has probably the worst contract in the league. Wizards GM lucked out that Ishbia was dumb, and now the Suns are stuck with him. No one is gonna trade for 3 years 162M with a player option in the third year with the way Beal looked this year.

thats my point and why the NTC matters. they are stuck with him and they i think they would keep booker is younger and homerown. plus we know how this goes with KD, hes more likely to as for out.

It doesn't really matter, because even if he was amenable to go to a team, zero teams would trade for him based on his salary. He takes up a third+ of the cap and he's washed.
The overriding point is that they're pot committed to those three guys. They already decided they were cool with the punitive effects of going over the second apron. I guess if KD demanded it he could get away with it. If he tried to throw Phoenix under the bus maybe he could force his way somewhere and leave the Suns hanging.

they were committed im sure until they got embarrassed and swept in the first round as a low seed. i dont see how they do any better next season and to add to it they paid Allen. 5 guys and theyre in the 2nd tax. thats a tough pill to swallow. i think we are going to see lots of player movement after this season.
Amazing effort from Dallas. Just scorched them on defense.
if LAC’s role players wake up and shoot decently again game 6 will be interesting. I don’t see Kidd making any further major defensive adjustments this series, last night was awesome
A 30 point blow out while Kyrie had a very mild offensive game. If the role players show up half as good in Dallas and Kyrie steps it up, it’s over. That defense was suffocating.
