Holy crap, there's another knucklehead in the family, and that becomes apparent right now? Jeepers creepers, what a tough stretch for Michael Porter and his non-idiot family members. And I thought the news about the other two was a bad combo.
Sixers looked awful until the 4th. gusty win though against a team we knew wanted to make it ugly. Embiid really made an impact in the 4th and Batum stepped up to help in a big way. shame Harris blows but looks like his mins will diminish. no reason to not beat the overrated knicks.

BING BONG!
Bill Simmons has this recurring bit where he talks about not knowing Tobias Harris is on the court in real time, and I now know what he means. He’s getting paid like a top guy and went 0/2 tonight. Zero points, wow.

I don’t think the Pacers will beat the Knicks but I'd honestly think it would be pretty cool if they did... at least get it to 6 games since I'll be out of town for the other home games

Man, Cavs are sucking it up. Mitchell is fantastic but no rebounding, no balance to the offense, and generally pretty sloppy again. Pretty pitiful for a team that had high expectations a month ago. Banchero has continued to impress.

Wow, how huge was Jaret Allen's absence for the Cavs tonight? Marcus Morris (who started, LOL) and Tristan Thompson combined to play 39 minutes and score 4 points. The bench scored a total of 10 points. Caris Levert only played 7 minutes. Evan Mobley played 34 minutes and did have 5 blocks but only 3 points (three, I didn't miss a digit) and 7 rebounds. WTF?????
The weirdest stats: Mitchell had 18 of his 50 in the 4th and no other Cavs player had a single point. In a closeout game. Seriously.
The home team has won all 6 games in the series, but after the entire Cavs roster aside from Mitchell basically failed to show up, I have no faith in them being able to hold off that energetic young Magic team on Sunday in Cleveland. Allen will probably suite up and they'll be favored, but no result will be shocking.
Absolutely insane the Bickerstaff wasn't fired after last year's debacle. Now Mitchell is almost certainly gone and Garland/Mobley's development was completely stunted.

still have a home game 7 coming up, press the brakes on the panic train.

You probably don't watch the Cavs but this is year 3 of the same old thing, just now it's on a national stage
1st pick: 6.0% 2nd pick: 6.5% 3rd pick: 7.1% 4th pick: 7.8% 5th pick: no chance 6th pick: no chance 7th pick: no chance 8th pick: no chance 9th pick: 50.7% 10th pick: 25.9% 11th pick: 3.0% 12th pick: 0.1% 13th pick: >0.0% 14th pick: no chance
Probability of Rockets jumping into the top four with their own pick is 7.1% (~1/14), which would also mean they'd have two picks, so the probabilities all sum to 107.1%.

That's exactly it. We've been hearing about the "young core," Mobley's development, Garland being one of the best guards in the NBA, and "taking a step" for three years now, and they have yet to win a playoff series, or look good in one. That's all kind of looking a bit silly right now, since even if they squeeze by the Magic tomorrow, they aren't much more of a real threat than they were two years ago, and there are more questions than answers with the roster.
Unless Mitchell is more business oriented than I think, considering that the Cavs can offer him the biggest contract, he's gone. He'll eventually tell the team that he's not going to sign an extension, and then they'll talk about his preferred destination when they stop listening to calls on him and start making them. We'll likely be hiring a coach as well, and maybe a GM. Who knows who else they'll part with. The Cavs still could very well advance to the second round, but I'm not counting on it, and they'd be a huge underdog against the Celtics.
That tech on Ant was one of the more blatantly stupid things I've seen in awhile. It wasn't taunting; he literally didn't speak. And while I'm maybe one of 3 Wolves fans here, I will be the first to say I'm glad they didn't call Jamal on his pew pew pew finger guns. What Ant did wasn't taunting and what Jamal did wasn't taunting either. Let players celebrate after they do cool shit, ya nerds.
