good for ATL, HOU and SAS. Wonder if any of those top 5 picks get dealt in a larger deal. Dejounte and the #1 for one of the Pels stars, anyone?
Based on that Chronicle article I definitely think the Rockets are gonna shop #3 for multiple future firsts. Sean Marks is already screening their calls in a dark room like Howard Hughes.
The Nets passed on the 3rd pick, two more future picks and Jalen Green to keep Mikal Bridges on a sub 500 teams. Seems like it's time to fire Sean Marks

Ignoring the fact that I don't believe this is true, blah blah blah..
Sean Marks should absolutely be tearing it down, trading Mikal, DFS, any other vets of value I'm forgetting, let Clax walk, and start anew with the handful of young talented players they have. It's not an insane collection of talent but Thomas, Watford and Clowney are worth giving more of a shot like they had at the end of the season. If they give Claxton a deal like they gave Cam Johnson they could be in this situation for the duration of the Rockets' control of their draft. They're completely taken by the fact that they are in NYC and can attract FAs like Donovan Mitchell. I'm pretty sure Marks and Tsai/ownership are in lockstep on this direction, so I don't think he'll be fired. He's now been responsible for the hire of four head coaches, I believe. He's kinda Teflon.
This game was really hard to watch. Rudy and KAT were brutal too, I think we fouled at the halfcourt line 3+ times for absolutely zero reason. We had plenty of opportunities to get back in this game and help ANT out but did nothing.
rockets #3 pick is a pretty interesting situation. I see the appeal in trading the pick for someone who can contribute now, but there's def a part of me that would use the #3 on Bronny and get LBJ for 2 years

LeBron has openly trashed Houston as a city in the past. He doesn't want to be here and I don't really want him, either.
I don't think they're trading it for a win-now vet. Think they're either using it or kicking the can down the road to future drafts. Don't think the level of vet they'd be able to get in return would be worth it to them. Could get wowed though I suppose.

It would be hilarious to have Ime coaching LeBron after calling him a bitch during a game and getting ejected this year. This is a team of dogs and we have no use for a diva.

some contender late in the first round is definitely going to do this to try to add LeBron on a vet min

you could also just use your second round pick on Bronny, he’s not sniffing the lottery

I swear this guy lurks Inforoo and posts this stuff right after I say it. But yeah, what Lowe is saying. There's too much upside and salary control to trade it away just because.
