the pacers have to let TJ close out games. inexcusable to leave him on the bench with the way he has been playing. refs were prob even worse but the pacers had more than enough chances to put the game away.

Hyped by the W last night, but I don't know how the Knicks win the series if the wheels keep falling off. Gotta hope OG's hammy isn't bad enough to keep him out for more than a game.

Knicks' role players are doing great and the Pacers only have so much firepower. I think the Knicks win the series but they're pretty boned against the Celtics if they don't have OG.

and also if they have OG
Haha yeah probably. I'm just only giving them a shot if they have him.
Wow, four whole games. How will he come back from this?
what a strange thing to say
Is it? People were talking about him being suspended for, like, half a season when it first happened. Just seems like kind of a light penalty given how hard the NBA has been trying to keep players from negative physical interactions with the fans.
If I got caught throwing a drink on the court, I’d probably be banned for life from the arena. But a player can intentionally throw a basketball not once but twice at a paying fan and they only get a 4 game suspension? That’s wild.

i took the context of his post as being sarcastic. dont think thats what he meant though now

Absolutely a light penalty. I was thinking 10 games, maybe 20, since major sports leagues generally have no tolerance for players interacting with fans like that. Four is just weird, especially given that he did it twice and hit a lady in the head. I wonder if she'll sue, and that's the sort of incident that local prosecutors sometimes pursue because sports is not an excuse for violence.
Totally different situation, but way back in the day, Jermaine O'Neal got 25 games for his part in the insane melee the Pacers had in Detroit. That was when Ron Artest went into the stands and was suspended for like 70 games. I think O'Neal squared up with a fan but that was on the court after the whole place went nuts.
Not sure what the Cavs ate for lunch but they need to do it again. Balanced offense, ball movement, making shots, hell yeah. They contested every shot and played tough D, which has been their recipe for success.
Jeff Phelps on local radio said this morning that if the Cavs win, it will be because they kept the game from being a track meet or too high scoring. He was right that holding the Celtics to the mid 20's in the first quarter would be the start they needed. I'm shocked that they stole one in Boston, although I'm still not expecting them to do more than win one more in Cleveland, at most. Gonna need Jarrett Allen back to make it interesting.

Bridges is a nice player and he's on a fine contract but the way he's talked about is bizarre. Constantly gets referred to like he has another level to reach when he's turning 28 before next year. He pretty much is who he is. My Spurs fan friend said he thinks Dillon is the best Wemby defender in the league, so I'm not convinced Mikal would be a massive upgrade over Dillon even. And with Tari, Amen and Cam coming along, we don't really need a wing. If anything, we need to trade Dillon for an expiring.

Ben DuBose who covers the Rockets for USA Today has disputed that there was an offer. I don't trust Shams to be anything but a mouthpiece for Sean Marks. He said in his original article that Ime was desperate to win now and then the only move we made was trading for Steven Adams who can't play until next season.
