Cavs fired JB, looking at Vogel and Stotts. That'll probably help them extend Mitchell, which means he won't go elsewhere (Nets) which works for me.
Supposedly Garland wants out. My Spurs fan friend really wants him there for some reason. To me, just use your 4th and 8th picks and build around Wemby and Vassell slowly. Garland is a fine player but he makes 40M a year for another four seasons. That's a lot to take on when you already have the most important piece. You can take advantage of Wemby being on a rookie deal but idk if that's really the best way.
I'm excited to see Mitchell with a coach he likes better, even though I didn't hate JB. I've heard other mentions of the Spurs as a possible landing spot for Garland, who looks like he's done in Cleveland even though our GM just said he doesn't see them making any big changes. He's not Donovan Mitchell, but Garland is a nice young player, and somebody will swallow that big contract. I just hope we get equal value in return and hang onto Allen.
Now supposedly Kenny Atkinson is at the top of the list of possible coaches, for some reason. I don't know enough about the guy to have a strong opinion. But I do know his stint as the Nets HC didn't go swimmingly.
Nuggets were probably the only team from the west who might have beaten the Celtics in 7. Dallas has a better chance, and you could see them winning 2. But MN gets 1 or 0.
Lively was initially listed doubtful yesterday (now out) which makes me think he may have passed concussion protocol. Kleber might be able to play tonight too which has the potential to help out a lot especially against Minnesota’s 2 big lineups. Don’t think I’ve ever been sweating a game 4 up 3-0 this much, it really feels like a must win or else momentum could shift in a huge way

Comeback starts tonight!
but really down the stretch it's so tough to face kyrie and luka possession after possession when they're making all their shots. wolves needs to be way better down the stretch if they hope to have any sort of chance

Had a dream last night that Minnesota won game 5 and durring a post game interview with Dorris, Mavs coache blamed the the loss on the towels being too greasy.

As of about 2 hours ago he was listed as questionable. How anyone could get whiplash-style kneed to the back of the head, somehow not get concussed and then play professional basketball a few days later would be astounding to me. Alas, add that to the list of reasons I'm not a pro baller.
I think they’ll let Dereck give it a shot. If all goes well I’d imagine 24 Gafford minutes, 12 for maxi (specifically when Gobert isn’t on the court), 12 for lively.
Think KAT is the X factor, needs to keep the momentum he found last game

maybe he'll just wait to try a 3 until the 2nd half again, seemed to work
I bet Mavs +4.5 and moneyline. They can’t beat Boston in a series. I’m thinking 1 or 2 max unless some random shit happens. Denver, I thought, was the only WC team who could beat them.
