love how much fun you’re having with your team at home. My only point is that Tatum does not need to be the focal point of the Mavs attention until he proves he’s worthy of being so
Even if Mazzulla doesn’t trust kornet/tillman, Tatum at the 5 small ball lineups have high potential to fuck the Mavs up if Dallas keeps playing defense like they have been
And now the refs wont call a clear on purpose foul directly in front of them. It was a nice comeback before refs put their stamp on the game per usual. Brown for FMVP for sure.
I don’t think it’s fixed just wildly inconsistent. Moving screens being missed, blatant arm hacks during lay ups while calling light fouls at pivotal moments. Like the last play where Derrick White was clearly trying to foul before the 3 in the last 20 seconds completely ignored while right in front of the ref. Makes it a frustrating watch when I never know if a call will be made.

Yeah calls have been weird and inconsistent. They've kinda let them play. Overall the series just feels super sloppy with the fouling and the turnovers, unlike any Finals I can remember off the top of my head.

Mavs had no chance. Luka needed this reality check if he's ever gonna compete in the league. He sucks on D and gives away plays by complaining to refs. He deserves all the hate Harden ever got.
Dallas role players completely shit the bed this series too. Sad after how explosive they were in the Wolves series. Credit to Boston defense but they’ve missed so many open shots. Lively finally came back to form this game but hard to expect a lot from a rookie.
And shout out to Boston for exploiting Luka on defense every chance they get. Other teams tried that but their role players made them pay. Boston shut down those easy assists forcing a hobbled and whistle reliant Luka to rely on ISO ball. Boston was the best team of the year for a reason. Hopefully Dallas at least get one win Friday but that’s a tall task now.
