At least youre admitting 2017 shouldnt have been legit.
How happy is Mattress Mack I guess cause his shit paid off again.
I been seeing Sox fans argue about getting rid of Eric Hosmer.
It's like, San Diego paying most of that contract - what does it hurt to keep him around?
He's such a liability on the field, honestly. I wouldn't keep him either. We're relieved not to have him anymore, even though we're still paying his dead ass.
Dusty expected to be announced to return on a one-year deal tomorrow. GM still unsigned. Contract expired at the end of October. Pretty weird!
Not re-signing Click would be an absolutely bonkers move
It would make no sense
tension w owner and coach is a bad position to be in also though, everyone just waiting for something to go wrong to just pull the cord. would like to resign him and just let bygones be bygones, but Crane probably feels very confident in his ability to pull most anyone he wants at this point so idk.

the monkey's paw curls, cashman leaves the yanks, click comes in and turns them into an astros destroyer
As the person who oversees the Astros’ Cuban scouting, he was directly responsible for the signing of first baseman Yuli Gurriel, and his reports and opinion were what led Houston to target Yordan Alvarez in a steal of a swap with the Dodgers. Gonzalez was also the one who pounded the table for the Astros to take Alex Bregman and Kyle Tucker with two of the top five overall picks in the 2015 MLB Draft. And while the Astros were playing Game 6 of the ‘21 World Series, Gonzalez was the scout watching a rehabbing Justin Verlander throw the private bullpen session that led to the right-hander re-signing with the club for what was a Cy Young Award-caliber season this year.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

Click gone. I don't agree with it, but I suppose there is tension there. Apparently there was some debate between him and Dusty about where Peña should bat in the order. When Peña batted 2nd like Dusty wanted, the team was 53-9.

Yeah. I understand having synergy between the FO and coaching staff but idk why Dusty couldn't pick an order.
because that's how you get Rhys hoskins batting second?
I think the Astros made a big mistake letting Click go but I think they are good enough that it either won't matter for a couple of years or, if the replacement is right, at all.
