Yeah, I'll absolutely be stocking up on the Yuengling before and after Roo. Can't get it around here. My croo and I have an arrangement where we bring other beers we can't get in our area for a swap.
If anyone's interested in being adventerous, 21st amendment does a bunch of canned beers. In preparation for Roo I went and got 6 different brews by them. I'd recommend the Hop Crisis (Imperial IPA) or the Bitter American (an APA). The former has a little too high of an ABV for me to bring it to Roo, but it's delicious. The Bitter American was sessionable, crisp, and had a great balance of malt and hops. They also have a Black IPA which was alright, I'll probably bring one or two just to mix it up. I love the Black IPA style, but it's not a very good example of one in all honesty.

I have to jump on the Yuengling bandwagon too. It sucks that we don't have it here in Texas. But, we do have Ziegenbock though I'm not sure if it comes in cans.
Shock Top is ok for what it is. I'll still prefer a proper craft beer over something created by Anheuser-Busch to try and tap into the craft beer market. Still, live and let live.
What's a good canned Belgian White? I will try to locate around here.
I know Fat Tire in a can has been mentioned here before but, when I was in the beer store yesterday I saw a 4 pack of Fat Tire pints in a can. Anyone else ever see this? I instantly flashed into a Roo dream and imagined myself being more inebriated than ever before there. New Belgium also had a 4 pack of pints for their Shift beer(which I had never seen). I believe it is a pale lager. I got that and it was really good. Strong hop flavor but really smooth with a good finish. Also, they are building a brewery in Asheville, NC can you say dream job? You get a beer everyday after your shift is over.
Flying Dog just started canning in the past couple weeks, so I'll probably bring a 6er of whatever the best beer they can is. Raging Bitch might be too heavy for Roo though... lol

I'm gonna have to keep my eyes out fer their stuff in cans.

Sixpoint Brewery's Resin IPA. One of the top 10 IPA I've ever had. It's expensive. Comes in 4-12 oz. packs and is ~$10, but if you love IPA see if you can find it.

I love Shock Top and have tried the Belgian White in the can but wasn't a big fan. It was a bit skunky for my taste. The Shock Top I.P.A. is freakin awesome but can't get that in cans. I tried Starr Hill Northern Lights and it was pretty good. Not sure what variety of Roo Brews I will be taking with me this year. Tough choices.

Hey guys. First-timer here. The Bonnaroo guidelines state that each person is allowed to bring in one case of beer but it doesn't say what size.
I plan on bringing in a case of 24 or 30. Will that fly with security?
Hey, and welcome! According to information on the official site (http://www.bonnaroo.com/festival-info/safety/), it's two cases per person per car, plus a handle, plus boxed wine. In any case, there won't be an issue with the quantity within the case.
And to add my 2 cents to the convo, I'm thinking about being thrifty and buying a nice big case of PBR. I have a feeling I'll be giving out a beer or two and I have no qualms with sharing cheap PBR.
I was in Murfreesboro, TN (about 30 miles north of Bonnaroo off I24) today and decided to stop in Stones River Total Beverage to see what canned beer they had. Here is a list I compiled. Grand Circus IPA Butternuts: Moo Thunder Stout, Snapperhead IPA, Heinniesweisse, and Porkslab Pale Ale New Belgium Shift, and Fat Tire Caldera Amber Ale, and IPA Brooklyn Lager, and Summer Ale Harpoon IPA, and UFO Honey Brown Lager Shocktop Tiger Bitburger Paulaner John Smiths EXtra Smooth Bavik Murphys Stout Young's Double Chocolate Tetley's Abbot Ale Wexfords Irish Creme Ale Genesee Cream Ale Belhaven Scottish Ale Old Speckled Hen Boddingtons Ale Sierra Nevad Pale Ale Magic Hat 9 Strongbow Dry Cider Sirperry Pear Cider Blackthorn Cider Next Door is the liquor store which has higher gravity Dog Bite Oskar Blues Old Chub, Gubna, Gnight Red, and Deviant Devil Dales Pale Ale Sierra Nevada Torpedo New Belgium Ranger IPA I talked to a worker and he said they are getting even more for Bonnaroo, so if any of you are coming south to Bonnaroo they have a pretty good selection of cans.
