Do they usually ID people trying to buy beer in Centeroo? I figured they would, but I have heard many stories about friends of mine smoking some green while there and cops just walking past them acting like nothing is going on.

Its a free for all. Just grow some facial hair, roll in the dirt, and tell the nice lady at the stand you are parched and would like a pint of their finest ale.

Good deal, didn't want to wait in the line if it was automatic that I was going to get ask for ID.
Sorry, I wasn't tryin' to come off like a dick with my last post. Too much beer.
Anyway, you run the same risk you run anywhere gettin' carded to buy alcohol. Personally I don't recall ever bein' carded, but I've always been of age and never had to worry about it.
The story your friends have told you about cops is a lie though. They are on The Farm. I have seen a few busts. NO NO WORDS!!! (druqs) are illegal and just because Bonnaroo is a music and arts festival doesn't make it any different. Just be smart at 'Roo and the fun will come to you. Check out the Don't Worry at 'Roo, Corncat Loves You thread! Think it's in the first forum.
I was in Murfreesboro, TN (about 30 miles north of Bonnaroo off I24) today and decided to stop in Stones River Total Beverage to see what canned beer they had. Here is a list I compiled. Grand Circus IPA Butternuts: Moo Thunder Stout, Snapperhead IPA, Heinniesweisse, and Porkslab Pale Ale New Belgium Shift, and Fat Tire Caldera Amber Ale, and IPA Brooklyn Lager, and Summer Ale Harpoon IPA, and UFO Honey Brown Lager Shocktop Tiger Bitburger Paulaner John Smiths EXtra Smooth Bavik Murphys Stout Young's Double Chocolate Tetley's Abbot Ale Wexfords Irish Creme Ale Genesee Cream Ale Belhaven Scottish Ale Old Speckled Hen Boddingtons Ale Sierra Nevad Pale Ale Magic Hat 9 Strongbow Dry Cider Sirperry Pear Cider Blackthorn Cider Next Door is the liquor store which has higher gravity Dog Bite Oskar Blues Old Chub, Gubna, Gnight Red, and Deviant Devil Dales Pale Ale Sierra Nevada Torpedo New Belgium Ranger IPA I talked to a worker and he said they are getting even more for Bonnaroo, so if any of you are coming south to Bonnaroo they have a pretty good selection of cans
Thanks for this. I pass right through there, so I will definitely be stopping to grab some quality canned beer.

i feel bad for all of you folks who dont have Yuengling available everywhere you go.
its $19 for 24 cans, and im pretty sure the only variety they dont can is the porter. if you go two hours east of me you can find it for ~$15
I know alot of people who are big fans of Dale's Pale (i call it DP, or Dual Penetration) but i cant seem to fully enjoy the taste.
And btw, i went to one of our local beer distributors as soon as i heard that sierra nevada was canning (I thank this thread) and requested that they get some cases, and praise bonnaroo, they now have a nice big stack of them, and soon I will too!

I sold beer last year and actually carded more than one person. They told us anyway that there were undercovers around who were gonna try and buy off us and to be careful. Not saying you wont get away with it, but unless you area older looking 18 it will be hard.

Alright, how long are the lines usually before a show? I might try to borrow one of my buddies ID before I go but if it gets to be too much of a pain I will probably forget about it.

Not certain if this one has been mentioned but it was suggested to me for Bonnaroo and is a quite refreshing brew. Farmer Ted's Farmhouse Cream Ale by Catawba Valley Brewing Co. I've found it at The Casual Pint and Union Jack's in Knoxville.

Just walk up to the booth, ask for a beer. If they ask for ID, tell them you left it back at camp. If they don't give you a beer, go to another vendor. It's not like there is only one place to get beer in Bonnaroo.
You beer snobs make me sick. 24 of these every year!
Whatever, you're drinking "the champagne of beer" and have the nerve to call others a snob Personally, if I am going economy, I'd pick Yeungling, Old Style, Strohs, or Schlitz, but High Life ain't bad.

I'm bringing 15 cans of Keith's India Pale Ale ( flying so supplies are limited). I don't know if this is very common in the U.S, but in my opinion there is no better Canadian beer.
Edit: willing to trade a few for some of your best brews.
