Just grabbed a six pack of cans of Southern Star Bombshell Blonde tonight... not too shabby for $7. Would be a good farm beer, not too heavy. It looks to be local to Houston? I can grab a six pack of this or their IPA if anyone wants it for brunch: www.southernstarbrewery.com/SSBBeers.asp
Centeroo has never had Fat Tire or any New Belgium brews available.
Fail.
You know, I've noticed that Fat Tire has been pretty readily available on draught both in Georgia and Texas within the past year (in places I wouldn't expect, too)... maybe there's hope for Centeroo? If not, Dan'ROO, I vote we come up with a sweet daily pre-gaming plan with infinite amounts of Fat Tire!
Finally enjoying a Good People Beer in a can! I got a six pack for $7.99. The IPA is a great canned beer. The brown is good as well but I can really drink these IPAs. They will be a good summer beer. Looks like the distribution is only to Birmingham and Huntsville right now. I am going to buy a bunch of this to bring to Bonnaroo. It should make for some good trades.
Good People Brewing was in the Brooers tent in 09.
Murfreesboro is on the way to Manchester from Nashville. Right off the interstate there is Stones River Total Beverages at 208 N Thompson Ln Murfreesboro, TN 37129. If you really want a good beer selection though there is Beer Depot 2002 E Main St Murfreesboro, TN 37130. They are about ten minutes off the interstate and have over 900 beers. If it is available in middle Tennessee it would be here. They also rotate like 9 kegs and sell growlers out of them. I have been really surprised at what they had on tap before.
