ITM, I got a DVD in the mail today that is a set of theirs from 06/06/2003 at The Mercury in Austin. Wow, ridiculous good. It's the one that somebody raffled off a copy of on the MMJ forums. Have you seen that show?

No I did not. I read about it but haven't seen it.
Just got done listening to Circuital, finally. I really dig it. It just reignited my excitement to see these guys on the farm. I don't care if it's only 2 hours, it will be two of the most incredible hours of my life.

Best Record Store Day imaginable. Picked up two vinyl copies of Circuital single, no problem, as well as 85 cd's for a buck apiece. All of MMJ were there, in store, to do signings. The place was a quacking madhouse. The band members couldn't have been more gacious and down-to-earth thru it all. Tomorrow night is the first real taste of the new sh*t live. I'm officially perma-grinned.

Pretty standard (amazing) MMJ show in Lex last night... was really surprised they didn't play anything new except circuital, I figured that would be more a tune up show for newer songs. They did introduce Wonderful (the way I feel) as a song of their new record featuring ben sollee.
I was surprised at the set list this morning...2 songs off of Circuital. My bet is that, that will change before Bonnaroo. Always exciting when the shows start happening again. It's weird, I coldn't care less what most bands do on their tour at stops I'm not going to, but with MMJ every show is exciting.

It was mentioned somewhere that they wouldn't be playing a lot of the new songs until like May or later. I forget where....maybe this thread somewhere. Or a Rolling Stone article.
Now that you mention that I remember. In 2008 they did that epic RCMH show that kind of kicked off all the new stuff being played live. At least we'll know the new tunes by Bonnaroo, those at Hangout Fest won't be so lucky but they'll probably get a shitload of new tunes there.

Yeah I saw that but thought since this seemed to be a smaller show and is the only one they've played for months or will play for another month they'd see how at least a few new songs went over. Guess I should have taken it literally. Def not complaining though, my 4th mmj concert and just as great the rest (besides epic 08 LN).
A bunch of people on here helped me feel better about the non MMJ LN spot this year pointing out they would conflict with some great bands I'll get to see now.... but after the show last night I feel again like it's a damn shame we're not getting another 3-4 hour set.
