Spectacular setlist. I hope we get Dondante or a full Run Thru or a Lay Low. At least one of those. And they better play Phone Went West since they did it for Waka and Mtn Jam.

a full Lay Low or even just the ending would be amazing. If it's played, it could be one of the most epic performances of the weekend IMO.
I'm a little puzzled by MMJ's placement. Why would they cap their time limit by putting them before Arcade Fire? Arcade Fire puts on great shows, but they really don't play too long, whereas MMJ doesn't care. Their show at Bonnaroo ’08 was totally insane, they played from 12:00-4:00 in a crazy thunderstorm.
Did you guys forget about Steam Engine? That was a new verse and ending last night!!!
PWW with an extra solo!!!
Heartbreakin Man!!! Fuck yeah!
8 new songs but they worked them into the set list better than the Unstaged show I thought.
It Beats For You makes a return!!
I'm thinking we're do for Anytime at Bonnaroo. Not sure about a full Run Thru (Chris I think mentioned this) They've been playing the End Of Run Thru for more than a year now, save for the T5 show.
Would not surprise me at all to see PHJB pop out for a song or two at Roo, that didn't take them long at all to get set up last night.
Lastly, nice to see Wonderful off the set lists, great song but I don't think it's a festival set song.
My request for Bonnaroo is War Begun, but I'll take any old tune I've never witnessed them play live.

Isn't PH playing at the same time (with Del McCoury)?
Gil Scott-Heron lyrics in that Steam Engine last night...sweet. I've only seen War Begun two or three times...that'd be a nice one, for sure.
I don't get the concern about them playing an earlier slot at What. That's a big step up for them, no? Sure, I'd love another four hour set, but am I the only one who doesn't see this as a move (on) up?
I can't make any predictions for their setlist, however, I did predict that they would be opening with Victory Dance---Circuital. I'm banking on a full blown Run Thru, a Steam Engine, and PWW. I hope to get a Dancefloor like they played in Louisville. I been listening to a lot of MMJ lately (actually all the time), and I can't narrow down a setlist that would fit in two hours. I am predicting a couple of special guests in the lineup.
I'm also predicting that JJ will show up on stage with another band at some point in the weekend.

I made this argument on another message board, it's definitely a step up in my eyes. Also putting them before Arcade Fire is a statement, like Wilco before Bruce.

PH = 7:30-9:00 p.m.
MMJ = 8:00-10:00 p.m.
That gives them a whole hour to get from their stage to the What stage. Bonnaroo has done similar things in the past and they can just use the golf carts to transport the band. Even if MMJ ends right at their scheduled time of 10 p.m. there's still plenty of time to get PH to their set for a few numbers at the end of the MMJ show.

you can look at it that way. but you can always look at how awesome it would have been they were closing the fest with a 3 hr. set. other fests are giving them that slot, roo has dropped the ball.
