arcade fire - daft punk - my morning jacket would be one of the only situations were i would be in danger of shitting myself when the lineup comes out.
Seems to me Arcade Fire postponed their tour? Rumors, totally unsubstantiated (thanks CoS), that the postponement caused them to miss Roo. Hopefully next year.
Will they still be touring next summer? I'm really surprised Roo missed out on them this year.
It was just bad timing, they're doing some warm up gigs in Quebec the 8th and 9th, and probably don't want to do such a high profile American show so soon.

the timing really does kinda suck. i believe the giant neon bible world tour lasted right around 12 months. they might be too worn out by the time roo '11 comes around; i hope not.
I have seen them three times already (twice in Toronto and at Lolla 05) and they are nothing short of brilliant. Anyone who says meh or otherwise should zip it.
If they get AF next year they won't headline they'll play Which between 1am-3am and jaws will drop.
It breaks my heart that Arcade Fire isn't playing this year. I don't have the money to travel so North to see them. Arcade Fire is a very talented group of muscians that are sowing their seeds as band to be reckoned w/ in the new 21st century. How their elvolving musically is a whole nother' story.
