^I don't know about headlining, but their new Mutt Lange-produced album is coming out soon, so I imagine we'll be hearing a lot from them approaching Roo X. I don't get the appeal, personally, but they'd draw a crowd.

Oh. Well, I'm predicting what will happen, not whom I'm hoping to see, you understand. I'd skip Akon and Katy Perry myself although there's a reasonable chance I'd show up for the Chicks in the Zac Brown spot.

I have it from a reliable source that Bonnaroo will get back to its roots and Widespread Panic will headline all three nights with the Sunday show being all acoustic and that the late night shows will be Gov't Mule, Warren Haynes solo, and Warren Haynes doing a performance that's a combination of mime, interpretive dance, and Greco-Roman wrestling.
p.s. at least it includes Radiohead and MMJ....I'm kinda on board!
Can you post the reason I gave?
Also yea I'm conflicted about the lineup, it just has a blatant disregard for common sense. Katy Perry wouldn't play, neither would Akon. And Daft Punk certainly wouldn't be on the Which.
If you had pitched that lineup to me 3 years ago, I would have shot you in the face and killed your first born child. But you're right, it seems plausible (other than Dixie Chicks IMO, are they even still around?). The good news is, like you said, half of that is palatable, so if next year's lineup is similar in structure, I'll make sure to attend the "good" half...
Fuck, any lineup that has Arcade Fire, My Morning Jacket, Robert Plant and ESPECIALLY Prince and Radiohead is fine with me... I'll just not go see the bad shit.

Well, I'm glad to see that you've come around on the Dixie Chicks. Akon, on the other hand, I admit was a terrible mistake. I take it back.

LOL @ Blondie and Sharon Jones as "female singer/songwriters." FYI, Sharon Jones doesn't write her music, Gabriel Roth AKA Bosco Mann writes a lot of it and the other Dap-Kings write the rest. She just sings. Also, Blondie is definitely a band. Debbie Harry is just the frontwoman. I get what you mean, though. Women that are well-known and marketable.
Also, not happy at all with your electronic sets except for Daft Punk and Flying Lotus. I hope Pretty Lights doesn't come. His music is just plain bad.

Would not at all mind seeing The Levon Helm Band on the farm. Would reeeeeeeeeeally want to see them play "The Weight," even though I'm not sure they would. One of my 3 favorite songs ever.
what about AEROSMITH,COUNTING CROWS,COLDPLAY,MUSE,STP,KORN for the shock value(gwar) 2010 was my 1st of many roo's so these are just a few bands that I would love to see as some kind of headliner and from looking at previous line ups none of them were ever there

They play it every show, pretty much, at the very end. Their show from Roo 08 is one of my very favorite Tent sets I've seen on the farm.
Yes, bring back Levon and give his band a late night so it can be a Midnight Ramble.

Unfortunately, I could see the Dixie Chicks playing, I just hate them.

Karosko, clearly you weren't at Pretty Lights late night 09, it was awesome! The music that night was so layered and trippy, a good end to the night. And, again this is mere speculation I'm guessing that Superfly will drop the ball on getting Daft Punk and also once again fill out there Lunar stage with electronic dj's who are no longer relevant (thinking of recent years and Tiesto, Oakenfold, Crystal Method, Maas, Sharam). I would much rather have some techno artists personally at least the beats would be interesting.
Cottons, I would take Aerosmith too. I hate on everything post Pump but they are still a great live act with a great back catalogue to draw from.

^I saw Aerosmith with STP in Nashville back in 2003; I thought it was great show. IDK how they would fit in at Bonnaroo, but their live shows are still worth seeing.

^ I think they would have to headline if they were there but that isn't going to happen. I assume we will not be seeing Aerosmith unless about 10-15 other classic rock acts say no first.
