Would not at all mind seeing The Levon Helm Band on the farm. Would reeeeeeeeeeally want to see them play "The Weight," even though I'm not sure they would. One of my 3 favorite songs ever.
one of my favorite things about bonnaroo is that shit like THIS happens
ive heard Levon do the Weight, ive heard Stevie Wonder do Superstition, ive heard Robert Plant sing, watched jeff beck play guitar, saw Bruce Springsteen sit in with Phish on Mustang Sally etc etc
and hell most of those arent even my favorite memories of the festival, what really sticks out is shit like Back Door Slam who blows you away as the first show you see on thursday

I haven't seen The Levon Helm Band (this past year was my first 'Roo). I wasn't sure if he played it live because it was a Band tune. Good to know that he always does His new solo record is great, too.
-When I Hear My Name -Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground -Blue Orchid -Passive Manipulation -Red Rain -Death Letter -My Doorbell -Hotel Yorba -Same Boy You've Always Known -Lovesick -Little Ghost -We're Going to Be Friends -The Hardest Button to Button -Black Math -The Nurse -I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself
Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver
But if Muse is still touring next year I could see them headlining.
If RUSH play, they will be the top billed act EASILY.
I truly HOPE Muse does not go anywhere near the farm. Just not a huge fan at all, listenable but seriously, imo about as needed as KoL were when they headlined.

Why not? LIke I said, it came to me in a dream where I was talking to a naked indian. Seriously though, Neil Young solo in a tent is almost like Elvis Costello solo in a tent. Am I wrong? Especially when you're putting him up with full bands such as Rolling Stones and the latest Axl Rose project (which is very doubtful). Regarding GNR, it was the 88-92 version that I have up there that grew old.

Haha. Whoopsy daisy. Guess I'll have to tell him he's wrong. So much for following the naked indian in a dream. Only works for Wayne Campbell and Jim Morrison. Darn it, why can't it work for me?
Okay, I have to revise the above schedule after further review. It looks like it's shaping up to be the following, so go ahead and add to your calendars:
FRIDAY WHICH: RYAN ADAMS & THE CARDINALS WHAT: ARETHA FRANKLIN WHAT: QUEEN WITH ADAM LAMBERT WHICH: THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS
SATURDAY WHICH: CEE-LO WHAT: MADONNA WHAT: EMINEM WHICH: CHEAP TRICK playing SGT. PEPPER'S
SUNDAY WHICH: WILCO WHAT: CROSBY, STILLS, AND NASH WHAT: FURTHER

Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
At least Queen with AL would show up. Aretha Franklin would be a guaranteed no-show. My biggest issue would be Cheep Trick. If anyone is going to cover a full Beatles album it should be a good band. Preferably the Fab Faux.
Friday: The Roots (Pre), Rush (HL), Daft Punk (LN What) Saturday: My Morning Jacket (Pre), Radiohead (HL), Trey Anastasio Band (LN Which) Sunday: ZZ Top (Pre), Arcade Fire (Which HL), Furthur ft. Phil Lesh and Bob Weir (What HL)
