See the thread I started. I'm hearing a Talking Heads one off for Bonnaroo 2011. It was all part of Ashley Capps master plan to let David Byrne curate his own stage in 2009. Also, many other hints as well.
You know what's awful about that^? People will now be disappointed when there is no Talking Heads reunion.
And there are people out there who actually believe in vampires thanks to True Blood and the V juice.
Seriously, I think they should do an Up In Smoke Tour. That would seriously get me back on the farm. I like Jay-Z, but Dre & friends dwarfs him imo. Also will get me back on the farm would be a reunion of.....you named it, Talking Heads.

If Daft Punk played, it has the potential to be the most packed show I've seen at Bonnaroo since 08 Pearl Jam. Jay-Z came close this year, but Daft Punk would have everybody there.

I'm not so sure that they would have EVERYBODY there. I think they could definitely play the What Stage, but Daft Punk doesn't have all that much commercial visibility, at least not in the U.S. Depending on who the other headliners are, I think there'll be some Rooers who don't know who Daft Punk is except for "that dude that Kanye sampled" or "the guys with that iPhone app." Not that Daft Punk is obscure, just that they probably don't have the universal appeal that someone like Jay-Z or Radiohead has.

^I agree. Daft Punk isn't nearly as popular as some here seem to believe. Look at 2010's four headliners in terms of platinum records and Top Ten singles. Daft Punk is nowhere close. Personally, I'd love to see a late night Daft Punk show on the What Stage, but given how mainstream the festival has gotten and how many teenagers were on the farm this year, there'd be 30,000 people next year saying, "Daft Who?"

How many platinum records and top ten singles do Widespread Panic, Phil Lesh & Friends, and Trey Anastasio have?
