Just so y'all know, it looks like voting on this one is going to go through the weekend. When I leave here at 5, I'm not going to have a ton of chances this weekend to check in. A friend lost his job yesterday, so I think we are going to do some serious drinking tonight. I'll see how things look tomorrow morning, but then we are going to spend the night in Reno, so I won't be on at all between noonish tomorrow and noonish on Sunday.
Well, both NTRT and LawnGnome voted for Wolf in the first round, before the runoff. Kdogg is always suspicious. So lets get all three in a runoff!

What exactly have I done that was suspicious? I voted for Wolf well before LG did.
Actually, I voted for wolf after the end of the last game in that thread, much like kdogg voted for Bek after that game was over. I would have voted for wolf first in the last game, but he was the ref -- look at the first post of that game. My round 1 vote for wolf goes back to the game before that one -- check it out. What I'm saying is that my vote for wolf wasn't exactly a surprise.
So, higgi, you voted for me. Can you tell me what I've done that was suspicious?
I never said I thought you were suspicious. I did state that your and Gnome's vote for Wolf seemed odd, and considering the fact that Wolf died makes it even stranger.
But my vote for you was for one simple reason, as I stated, to force a runoff. Ideally I was aiming for you, Gnome and Kdizzle, which I believe would divulge some important information through votes and who doesn't make it, etc.
I will most likely end up changing my vote to try and accommodate a runoff, I was hoping other's would agree and feel a runoff was best, but I think I will have to wait until after the weekend to see.
This is my second time playing Mafia. The last time I played I went the way of (almost) Mike D; my noob status earned me the first vote out of the game. My reasoning in stacking the vote against wolf was mainly one of self-preservation, and at that point in the game it is difficult to determine who may or may not be Mafia. Since the townspeople outnumber Mafia, I figured that losing a (potential) townsperson early, even if faultily, would be in the best interest of the rest of the townspeople.
Let's also bear in mind that my vote didn't axe wolf; we had two runoffs through which others voted him off. The fact that Mafia chose to kill Mike D is interesting, however, and makes me suspect that we may have eliminated a Mafioso on the first vote.
I still don't feel I have enough evidence to cast an informed vote against someone at this point, so for now I will reciprocate the vote against me. This may change pending other votes, but for now:
Who are we trying to put in a run-off? Are y'all wanting a three way run-off with Kdogg, NTRT, & Gnome? Or a two way- runoff? I would usually reciprocate EAP's vote for me but it just seems like a waste of time if we are trying to force a run-off. Since voting will be open all weekend I'll hold off for the time being before I cast my vote.
He voted for the eventual victim. Stacking on the third vote of the game just seems suspicious to me. He received zero votes in Day One, which makes me further suspicious. And he kept with his Wolf vote throughout Day One without really saying much after casting it.
Furthermore, and I know this isn't relevant to this particular game, but... I had to re-randomize a past game due to his & Chief's slacker donkeys and didn't appreciate it one bit.
I came back to make a correction. I erroneously reported Gnome as having had zero votes in Day One. I was between waking up from a nap and work, so it was rushed. I shouldn't post in this or any other thread before I've had my caffeine. I actually stopped back home during a pizza delivery to post this, once I realized I'd made an error. I'll go back to that post and strike it out as well. To clarify: the players who received zero votes in Day One were Bacon, Higgi & Airline. Gnome had a vote from Bacon.
I'm sorry, Gnome, but defending myself in and of itself does not make me guilty. I'm not trying to attract any more attention to you than your first-round vote for Wolf already did. You've already made that bed, so quit complaining that you have to lie in it.

Then why aren't even one of these three being looked as as possible run-off contenders? I was gonna go with the flow since y'all already named who you wanted in the run-off but it seems like at least one of the people who didn't have a vote should be thrown in. Which one though?
It's also a bit suspicious that you're trying to deflect attention away from yourself and onto me when you have some votes against you.
No, it really is not a suspicious move to try and preserve one's self by pointing fingers at others. It sucks though when two innocents are battling each other though, whch may be the case here.....although I do agree your voting was kind of weird.

I don't really know what to think.... which makes me wanna fall back on my default vote for kdogg but that would mean we wouldn't have a run off.
lawngnome does seem suspicious with his whole voting for wolf thing but essentially he is new to the game too so I am trying to give him the benefit of the doubt.
eap/jen concern me. I know that this is only the second round but voting partners seem to be broken up this round with the exception of them which leads me to believe that one if not BOTH of them are mafia. but jen hasn't voted yet this round has she? I guess that would make her.... last to vote?
I am down with a three way run off but I just don't think ntrt looks suspicious as of yet so I don't feel right about voting for him.
The reason I have not voted yet is because voting was remaining open until the weekend is over so I would rather hear from everyone and make a somewhat informed decision than just vote for the hell of it. As far as votin pairs go I have not voted EAP so that pair is only in tact on her side of things.
I guess since I am the last left I will go with Airline based on Kdogg's statement that he was one of three that did not receive a vote in round one & he is the only one of the three that has a vote this round.
We will now have a runoff between LawnGnome, ntrt, JenKazoo, and Airline.
Edit: Instead of keeping the votes the same this time, I'm going to start it fresh because I want to make sure that everyone has a chance to either decide to keep his/her vote or change it before I close voting next time.

The "this" I was referring to was kdogg implicating my suspicion because the mafia's video was from the BBC. I have only seen kdogg throw around accusations based on nothing at all when he was mafia. The other points he's made are perfectly vaild, and they look exactly like standard kdogg posts. The BBC post is not like those.
