kim, I was wondering wtf happened to you. I hope your husband gets better soon. @ Ken, well said and I look forward to seeing you up there again soon.
Tuesday afternoon, I mentioned the NYE thing to Marla, and she wasn't very encouraging that it would happen this year. She thinks it's too cold up there that time of year.
There was one casualty at camp. Tuesday morning, as I was breaking down camp, I found that my beloved table has a long diagonal crack across the top, so please don't stare or point when you see it again. All I wanna know is who sat on it. No harm will come to you, other than bottle rockets, firecrackers, and other explosives set off right outside your tent as you try to sleep, but you'll get that anyway, if you camp around me.
Gypsy Feats - it was great hanging out with you! Thank you so much for the beautiful necklace - it has gotten many compliments. We should totally try for NYE @ camp reggae...they also have the halloween party but I think there is too much going on in Nashvegas that weekend....

"He is a wook in sheep's clothing."~~~Popsicle Sarah
"You know the feeling when you're in too deep, and when you make it out, the taste - so sweet." ~~DMB

Great to meet you, Lady T, as well as all the others in your camp! I know that you, too, visualize that "Welcome Home" banner as it flys above the entrance to Camp Reggae!
Ewe guise should Czech out the upcoming Alchemy - The Georgia Burn held just south of Chattanooga. It's more of an avant-garde/Bohemian scene than CR, and will give you a taste of the Burning Man culture. Radical self-expression and inclusion are the norms; have some fun getting in touch with that alter-ego! Me, I'm going as a grey-headed tree-hugger!
So has anyone else heard about Camp Reggae Halloween Edition they are shooting for Dale TV?? It's only one night I believe, but Sarah and I are considering it.

I just remembered the complete lack of cell and internet signal up there. This is one strike against me going, I don't really wanna be out of touch for two or three days at this time.
If I go, I won't volunteer this time, but would probably stay over an extra day to help clean up anyway, as long as there are others staying over. The more I think about it, I become less inclined to go, but maybe I'll change my mind as it gets closer. I'm sure y'all will have a great time either way. :-)

Hmmm... gnu to this board and its ways.
Anyway, to finish my reply to Dale above... Yes, that's also what I get when I call the number Mike gave me. JahT thinks he'll be there anyway. BTW, it's a one night gathering with three of the regular bands: Nattys, Fat Penguin, and I.R.E.
Sure wish ewe guise could have made Alchemy (The Georgia Burn) this year! be sure to put that one in your festival daybook--guaranteed to peg the alive meter!

OK Ken, I'm putting Alchemy on my list of possibilities for 2011.
