Alright so is Broken Social Scene not on right now, or does the webcast just suck. There's nothing playing on Channel 1 yet they supposedly went on 15 minutes ago.

Yeah the energy looks a little low compared to Roo, however these are afternoon sets. Surprised I havent seen a bunch of corn smoke on the webcast considering its Killer Cali and all.
You are disappointing me Coachellans. Coachellites? Coachellians rolls off the tongue but doesn't make sense.
This is fantastic. The production is awesome and the stream is working great. Broken Social Scene was really good but too short. Here We Go Magic sounding good.
I'm not sure if I would every bother to go to Coachella because of the short set times, but it works well for watching it on the net.
This has been my experience exactly. I've always wanted to go, but set lengths are pretty weak. I'm loving the stream, though.
The biggest problem with the set lengths is how little margin for error they leave. If you hit a snag and start 10-15 minutes late, you lose 1/3 of your set in some cases. You could end up playing 30 minutes, which is what Broken Social Scene did.

Cold War Kids had an amazing set yesterday, now Gogol Bordello is killing it. June can not get here fast enough. Watching the Coachella stream is making me antsy

Resolving conflicts by dividing your time is eliminated as an option unless you enjoy trotting across the festival grounds to stand at the back of a tent for one song and then huffing it some more for your next performer.

We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

Was really not a fan of Gogol Bordello from all the previous YouTube vids Ive watched, but after watching that performance I am definitely trying to see them at Roo. Also Cage the Elephant killed it earlier today, wish they were at Roo. Looking forward to Arcade Fire tonight, its gonna get me so pysched for June.
I've seen Swell Season twice live and now this stream. Every time he has stopped mid-set to either admonish the sound people or to complain about the quality of the sound in general. It takes me out of the moment a lot more than a flaw in a song.
Don't get me wrong -- I really do like their music, especially live -- but that is an aspect of their show that I still have to get used to.

I feel the need to save a few months worth of pay in a jar and take the summer off next year and road trip festivals so that I don't miss moments like this.

Bright Eyes is great and I wished they were at Roo. I thought for sure they'd be booked but I guess it didn't work out this time. They have tour dates but are free on the Sunday of Roo.....likely don't want to add another day or something.

And I remember being on these boards right before that Bonnaroo and having serious arguments with idiots over whether or not bands like Bright Eyes and Death Cab "belonged" at Bonnaroo. I remember distinctly wanting to stab Keith.
Old-school Inforoo action right there. Jesus, those were some serious rants from Keith.
