Yea, what R said, biggest act doesn't play Saturday necessarily. They're a different festival.
Alright then, point taken. I didn't realize that, but I guess that does explain Jay-Z on Friday and Muse on Saturday (although those two are much closer in terms of popularity). I guess Coachella just likes to climax early in the weekend. It's sort of hard to tell who has top billing since Coachella arranges artists by each day.

That's a really good lineup, but not to the point that I feel like Bonnaroo doesn't have a good chance to outdo them for their 10th anniversary. We shall see.
Thats a really great lineup but I'm not sure if its fly out to CA great. Mainly because I have seen most of the acts that I would be interested in seeing. Below are the acts that I would really want to see. Bolded acts are ones I haven't seen live before.
Friday: The Black Keys Interpol The Chemical Brothers Cee Lo Cut Copy Ariel Pink Pains of Being Pure at Heart Titus Andronicus
Saturday: Arcade Fire Animal Collective Bright Eyes Suede Broken Social Scene New Pornographers Tallest Man On Earth Cults Radio Dept The Love Language Gayngs

Good, but not great lineup... definitely a step down from last year. Where's the old school electronic/industrial/experimental act they always have one of (Kraftwerk, Numan, Throbbing Gristle...)?
I think it's the worst lineup they've had in a while. The rare acts (that I care about) that make it worth it to travel across country just aren't there. Looks like I won't be taking my talents to Southern California again this year.
i almost guarantee they miss out on neil and at LEAST 1 of kanye/beasties/daft, probably 2.
still a pretty damn nice lineup. like r said: good, but not good enough to skip roo and fly to cali (which i was considering if the lineup amazed me enough). headliners are a real letdown for coachellas standards. i really think roo can outdo this.
also, this just got me like 100x more excited for bonnaroo. we're on deck now.
All Roo needs is Radiohead, and they have the better lineup.
Also, I hope people aren't overlooking Leftfield because of how low on the bill they are... they put out one of the finest electronic albums of the 90s in "Leftism". Hell, I didn't even know they toured anymore. Really shocked by that one, and it should be a great show.

Yea what happened this year?
i'm surprised a Godspeed like act didn't show up on there.
Decent lineup, but I would be let down if this was Bonnaroo 2011's lineup. That said, I hope Bonnaroo books Animal Collective or Kanye West also. Seriously doubt they will, though.

I honestly think they're trying to be more "kiddie-friendly" with their bookings. In the last two line-ups, the oldest headliner has been Jay-Z...haha. It would've been kind of a bitch for me to get out there this year anyway, so I can't say I'm that disappointed.
My sentiments exactly. PJ Harvey, London Suede and Cee Lo are the only acts I would be excited to see at Bonnaroo. I'm really shocked that Pulp is not there.
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it
This will be my first year Bonnaroo after going to Coachella the last 2 and I'm kinda pissed now after seeing Coachellas lineup. The thing I dreaded the most was the lack of electronis music at Bonnaroo but after last years less than spectacular Coachella EDM acts I figured I'd give it a shot. Then they go and book Robyn, The Presets, Chemical Brothers LIVE, Sasha, Boyz Noise, Empire of the Sun, The Presets, Bloody Beetroots, and Duck Sauce.
Anyone thing Bonnaroo will have a larger selection of electronic music this year or will it still be the token 1 or 2 late nights?
