i think bacon is guilty b/c i think it is weird he has been voting for kdogg so much. last game he was all about kdogg and saving him etc and now he votes him into a runoff (multiple times?). that seems off to me.
i am more than open to changing my vote to FFYM. though i am inclined to stay with bek, since she messed up the vote with kdogg/hippie situation and FFYM's only mistake so far is being silent. i realize their is the possibility that bek just "forgot" the vote.
Wait you think I' guilty because of what happened last game?
I think people are still discussing things a bit... Unless anyone objects, I will leave voting open over night and close it first thing in the morning... Or about 10 a.m. here in Arizona.
i just think its weird that you stood up for him so much last time and how he wouldn't do this, wouldn't do that, he's such a good player etc. etc.
and now you have been trying to get him in multiple runoffs.
I did that because I knew he was innocent. Although, you may have noticed earlier in Day 1 I was one of the people who voted for him. In fact Kdogg is normally my fall back vote.
how did you know he was innocent? you didn't ask about him. you could've bought into that story that hippie concocted that screwed everyone up.
i'm just sayin.......
who knows though......i always have a hard time at the beginnings. i just thought for once as a townsperson i would try to be more into the game and actually reading what people said. haha.

Yeah, didn't read the last two pages, but pretty much, I work and I have school, so my time is occupied pretty much all the time by something other than Inforoo. The reason I've been last vote is for that reason. I don't check in every 20 minutes, I don't have time to. I'm too busy doing homework, or at work. I probably shouldn't have signed up, knowing that I wouldn't have been a good player, but so be it.
And my obvious reasons were, I was in the run off, Bek had three (i think) votes and I already had one. There were two other people I could've voted for, but I voted for Bek, because I figured another vote would make me that much safer.
Mike D- I am voting FFYM because he voted Bek knowing she already had more than enough votes to kill her. And he said "for obvious reasons" when he had none
This is gonna sound stupid, but I really didn't. Like I said in my previous post, I never get time to come on here. I was rushing, because I was the last vote, and I thought people were waiting on me, so I sped read and came to the assumption that, if I did this, everyone would know why I did it. Hence, the "obvious reasons."
Also, I vote kdogg, not only as a recipocal vote, but because also to hopefully save my ass. lol
I'm telling you, it's not that Bek broke the grudge vote agreement we had... it's that we had one in the first place!
You think it's coincidence that the two people involved in such a lightning rod got pushed this far into the runoff?
Mafia wants you to vote for Bek or myself. Don't do it.
I'm learning towards your "lighting rod" theory at the moment but I've got to ask. Didn't you realize this agreement was gonna cause you issues before the game began? Hippi had 3 votes within the first thirteen post. How were people not suppose to find this suspicious?
I ask because your a smart guy and you've played this game enough to know this was gonna cause you problems. Especial if you were a townsperson because ,as your saying, it would be a perfect angle for the mafia to work.

Ya but I knew AWATD was guilty and it was pretty obvious that they were on different teams. Plus as I have said about a million times he was killed by the mafia in the first round. That just about guarantees innocence in my mind.
I think it is a normal first round were everyone votes randomly and nothing really means anything. I am voting for Kdogg because first time players are rarely mafia and Bek has very few votes.

As my experience in this game the only time you can speed read and be sure about your vote is when you're mafia! If you're a townsperson, then you want to read to make sure you're voting is actually going to help the townspeople!

That makes sense, but to be completely honest it really wasn't about the game at all, I saw that I was the last vote, people were waiting on me, and anxiety kicked in full throttle and I wanted to post my response as quickly as possible so the game could advance. You've talked to me, Kel, you know that I have anxiety lol. People waiting on me is really bad for me.

Yeah, I knew it wasn't going to be the safest move to make. I did it anyway. I'm used to problems like this. Even without my rare "pure grudge" vote, I'm often a popular target. By this point, I'm used to being ganged up on during the first round and having to talk my way out of it.
^ See? It happens to me so often it's become a running joke around here...
If I wind up a vote away from death every Day One anyway, there's not a whole lot more risk I could have taken on casting a grudge vote. Another reason I didn't mind the attention it would bring me... it hasn't gotten me into any more hot water than usual.
I can guarantee you this is not Bek & I working a Mafia angle. We wouldn't be so bold as to draw attention to 2 of 3 Mafia by doing this - that would simply be too risky. I know when I proposed the deal that it would totally screw things up for Bek & I if we were both Mafia. I know I'm not Mafia, so I know Bek & I are not Mafia in cahoots. (For the record, if/when Bek & I ever ARE Mafia together, we are gonna quacking own everyone. Just sayin.)
I do find it suspicious that, after having spent so much time advocating for our mutual innocence, Bek still hasn't found it within herself to change her vote away from me. She's done it in games past when I've been on the chopping block, so this has me wondering if perhaps she doesn't have different motivations than Townsperson me. I want you all to keep that in mind, because I'm not sure I'll be alive much longer to remind you about it...
Call me dense, but I'm really not sure I follow your logic. The thing is, you make it sound like mafia is hugely influential and has the power to really manipulate the votes. At this stage of the game, that's just not true. Chances are, there's a mafia voting for you, a mafia voting for bek, and a mafia voting for FFYM. In my eyes, that doesn't make anybody innocent.
This is clearly just Mafia trying to make Bek & myself lightning rods while they continue to fly under the radar. I hope my fellow Townspeople can also see this for what it is.
Because (1) if I learned anything in law school, it's that people use the word "clearly" because they don't have a good, solid argument, and (2) this statement basically asks us to assume that both you and bek are innocent, and you know we can't do that.
I'm not saying the Mafia has the power to necessary influence these votes. However, I think it should go without saying (especially this early in the game) that Mafia will not cast votes for a player they don't want to vote for. They have eight alternatives, after all.
I'm not saying, as you put it, that "Mafia is hugely influential." I am, however, saying that Mafia do indeed exist, and their preferences may be inferred from how the votes fall. Perhaps not so much causation as there is correlation, I will admit... but I think it's irresponsible of a Townsperson trying to figure things out to assume that all eleven players are innocent. You have to root them out somewhere, and that's why we look to the votes. The votes don't necessarily indicate that the Mafia put someone in the runoff, but I think they certainly go to show which courses of voting the Mafia does or does not approve of.
And I think the point at which Bek & I had eight votes combined - a scenario you first brought into the conversation, I might add - is telling. We have eleven players, three of them are Mafia. I think it's CLEAR that a voting bloc of eight is more likely to contain a majority (if not all) of the Mafia than the group of three not in that bloc. Sorry if they didn't teach much math at that there law school you attended, but I think it's the plain and simple truth.
Kdogg- I hope you don't die. I am pretty set on FFYM being guilty. I may be wrong, but I doubt Bek is guilty. The votes against her is the reason I ruled her being guilty out.
I like to look at the post count and the 6 people with the least and there is usually one or two mafia in the bottom posters. here's the list of them. EAP Mike D ☮ superbek ☮ ♫JenKazoo☮ fightforyourmind88 handgunhipster
Edit:
I rule Bek out bc of the vote stacking so that leaves me with 5 to be suspicious of.

No, mafia won't vote for someone they don't want to vote for, but I think it's a mistake to think that mafia won't vote for mafia. So, no, they each have ten alternatives.

I'm not assuming that all eleven players are innocent. I know that I am innocent, and I'm assuming that the other ten of you are guilty.
You have to root them out somewhere, and that's why we look to the votes. The votes don't necessarily indicate that the Mafia put someone in the runoff, but I think they certainly go to show which courses of voting the Mafia does or does not approve of.
Yeah, of course you have to look at the votes, but I don't think the votes in Day 1 are quite as telling until we have more information to add to them. The mafia votes are three out of eleven, and I know that, if possible, mafia try to spread their votes out among several players so that they don't end up getting connected to each other right away.
And I think the point at which Bek & I had eight votes combined - a scenario you first brought into the conversation, I might add - is telling.
No, I did not bring that scenario into the conversation. I brought Bek having five votes into the conversation. You brought the block of eight into the conversation. And as far as I can tell, the only way the block of eight is relevant is if we assume that both you and Bek are innocent. If either of you is guilty, the block of eight doesn't mean anything. And I am not going to assume that either of you is innocent just yet.
We have eleven players, three of them are Mafia. I think it's CLEAR that a voting bloc of eight is more likely to contain a majority (if not all) of the Mafia than the group of three not in that bloc. I totally agree that it's likely that at least two of the mafia voted for either you or bek. I said before that it was entirely likely that there was one mafia voting for each of you. I just don't see what that proves.
^^ I carried your vote over from the last runoff. So it will remain the same. Just FYI.

EDIT- Mr. Kdizzle brought it to my attention that we should address Monday's holiday. As I would assume most people will be out and about BBQing or whatnot, we will count Monday as part of the weekend. So after I leave Friday, that round will remain open until Tuesday at approximately 10 a.m. Arizona time.
^Friday is part of my holiday weekend too...but I gues Friday is already considered weekend. I just returned from a 3 hour second interview (cross your fingers for me) and my brain is totally fried so I can't think right now and I am mentally drained. My votes stays for FFYM88.

hmmm......you also left yourself out no???? if you are gonna put me on that list, then you have to put yourself too.
i'm voting for FFYM only b/c out of FFYM vs. kdogg, it seems that kdogg would do a more thorough job as a townie.
i said i like to look at the 6 or so with the fewest posts. the list i posted is the actual post count that inforoo gives you when you check it. i didn't make it up...it's just math. if you'd like, i can post the whole list so my name is on it...
