I'd take something like 08 LN MMJ over a DP set but would take DP over a regular MMJ show. The crowd movement and light show at a DP concert are pretty overwhelming, I think it almost HAS to end up happening one of these years.

How is Daft Punk winning? This question might as well be "would you rather see the greatest light show in the world or one of the greatest live bands in the world" I hope none of you would choose light show... though i know some of you would.

Vote #99 - My Morning Jacket is what live rock n roll should be, and they are an amazing thing to witness, as I'm sure Daft Punk would be. However, when I'm ready to get spun by some beats Bassnectar, Pretty Lights, Silent Disco, and pretty much any womp womp will usually do just fine. Obviously DP is a much larger act than those and I think they would be the #1 Roo "get" ever. I just feel like I get lost within myself dancing with electro music. It kind of reminds me of masterbating, which I do enjoy a lot, and I'm not trying to discount how fun it can be in crowds. Yeah I said it! All jokes aside though, I just prefer the feeling of listening to a tight live band getting loose on the breakdowns and singing along with the crowd. Those moments there singing with all of you good folks are what make Bonnaroo so beautiful, and nobody does that better in good ol' Manchester, TN (or anywhere else) than My Morning Jacket... IMHO of course. MMJ 50 - DP 49...
