Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
If anyone still thought MMJ wasnt playing Roo, u can forget that.
I agree, I don't see them ALSO doing Roo.....much less headlining it. I'll be surprised if they are there.
Well, i was saying I thought they WOULD be there. Making the most of their bonnaroo booking by headlining two fests on the way. Could still go either way sure, but thats my impression.
-When I Hear My Name -Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground -Blue Orchid -Passive Manipulation -Red Rain -Death Letter -My Doorbell -Hotel Yorba -Same Boy You've Always Known -Lovesick -Little Ghost -We're Going to Be Friends -The Hardest Button to Button -Black Math -The Nurse -I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself
Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver

Oh my mistake. I read it fast and misinterpreted the wording.
I was thinking that headlining two fests a week before Bonnaroo would make them less likely. At least less likely for a headlining slot IMO but I'd still love them there as a late night or something.
A Thieve's Parade 2/24 Conspirator 2/26 Kevin Smith 3/11 Keller 3/17 Papadosio 3/18 JJ Grey 3/25 Bela Fleck/Edgar Meyer 3/26 Toubab Krewe 3/27 O'Death 4/11 Budos Band 4/22 EOTO 4/28 Summer Camp 5/6-29 All Good
Between the two I think Mountain Jam has a much better lineup than Waka. My backup plans for Bonnaroo may be changing. Though the 97% probability is that I will be doing Bonnaroo.

well yea, roo lineup is going to come out and crush all the others. i bet i flirt with these other fests and end up just going to roo again.

I want to do both but it's so tough because of the week difference. Time off of work and money are tough to come by but I think I may have to just make it work.

This lineup has me all fired up!
I have a few concerns if anybody that has been to Mountain Jam could help me out.
I saw the website says no car/camping. Does that mean we have to haul our gear to our spot? That is sort of a turn-off for me, but I will do it if need be. I know All Good says the same thing on their website, but we were still able to setup by our car.
It means you have to park in a lot and bring your stuff to the camping area. But it's not that bad. The parking is close. I ve been to festivals where we had over a mile walk to the camp site. That sucked.

I got one of these from Home Depot for like 80 bucks. It's essential.
^ that is the exact cart i had my eye on after doing some research.
I'm still not thrilled about not camping by my car, but MMJ and the Avetts. Sweet!
It's not a bad walk....just annoying if you have a lot of gear. I was able to go back and forth to my car a few times over the weekend for anything I left there or to charge my phone. Shouldn't be too bad.
But MMJ, Avetts, Portugal. The Man......this fest is going to be great.
That cart is probably one of the best purchases I have ever made. It's good because I could at one time put all three of the kids in there too. This was nice at festivals when they were the age when it was easier to tote them around rather then have them walking.
Saint - they'll be playing a secret Mule set at the Mountain Camp Jam Zone and you'll be front row for it. Don't spread that info too far though
Will you be joining us again, monkeyman??
Thursday start this year.
See you there Wednesday at MacGregor's Pub. Right across the street from the Mtn.
I'll definitely be joining you on the mountain.....not definite if i'll be there wednesday night. Might have to skip Thursday too but I'm going to definitely hit up Friday, Saturday, and SUnday.
No it didn't. They are both great. I'd go to either one if I could get the time off.
but you can't go to both. mj has way more names that i would be excited to see. they have mmj plus mule, warren haynes band, avetts, flecktones and portugal the mutherquacking man. waka has a bunch of stuff i'm not familiar with and a bunch of stuff i'm not interested in (most of the womp womp/wobble wobble/untz). i won tickets to waka and have a friend going, but i would still rather go to mj.

if you don't want your waka ticket..... yo
we'll see. after all the other fest lineups come out we will decide if we are going to waka or not.
