This is very true. Shout out to every Eagles fan that makes Facebook comments as well.
I just remember it took a good couple of years for Sony to really get their library up to snuff, but once it was, 360 was left in the dust (for my tastes, at least). This time, I expect it to take less time. It's amazing the amount of fanboys Microsoft is alienating with this new thing, and they're usually the most obnoxious, in your face "Sony sucks" people you'll encounter.

I fully became a PC gamer convert once I got some good graphics card/power supply to run some of them. I'll be getting a PS4 at some point, though. Xbox One has not impressed me and PS4 will be a good gaming/entertainment system for me.
I have used my PS3 to almost no end since I got it in late 2008. Aside from my PCs, I haven't used anything as a media system this much, ever. They had me before anything really specific was announced for the specs... I'm not really a huge gamer, honestly I may get two or three games in a two year period nowadays, but it has been such an awesome streaming device, the PS3 exclusive Youtube url tears the shiz out of the desktop version or any Youtube app I've ever used, Blu Ray/DVD capabilities have been used multiple times per week, it's a great music player, and "sharing" on there is easy as shiz, too. With the XBox it's like, I play games on it... that's it. Now, granted, I'll play the games that I tend to play more on that system (Bethesda RPGS, mostly, now), but even then, I've played more games with my PS3. Only thing I wish they could have done for the PS3 was fix the Javascript issue on the browser... and maybe allowed playback of FLV, MKV, and FLAC file types, but that's reaching.
If I end up getting a PS3 (dur, I mean ps4) within the next couple of years, I somehow see myself STILL using my PS3, maybe even more than the new baby console.
I would try to get into console gaming, but my PC isn't exactly made with the idea of upgrades in mind. That and I'm lazy. The convenience of a console is really what gets me.
Edit: wow, lots of going back and editing this post, and I'm sure I still didn't catch em all... cold meds + early mornign + still recovering = loopy T.

Anyone here play Starcraft II? I've played through the Wings of Liberty and the Heart of the Swarm campaigns on normal. The story is a continuation from the original series. Started playing online some recently and have been getting my ass handed to me. I love that game though. Always been a big fan of real time strategy and Starcraft II is by far the best one I've played.

Yea, still got some time until it's available but it's something definitely worth following. Steam has ridiculous sales around winter and summer time (some big games 50-75% off) so I have a whole catalog of things that I haven't gotten to yet. So when this finally does come out I'll have a bunch of stuff to already play on my TV and not have to switch up my monitors/settings on my current PC.

I'm getting much better now, but still get my ass handed to me half the time I play online.
So I got Super Mario 3D World in the mail friday for Wii-u. Booted up the wii-u and stuck in the disc, the shiz froze up! Had to hold the power button down to turn it off, booted up again, took the disc out, and tried to see if there was a new system update, and it froze up in the menu when I clicked on system settings. At this point, I was ready to begin destroying everything in the living room, but I looked up the problem on the internet and none of the solutions worked, so I called nintendo and they couldn't figure out what the problem was after asking me to do a few things so they told me I'd have to send it off for repair...and then when he was getting my info he told me that my warranty had expired 6 days ago. me with sad voice: "aaaahhhhhhhh shhiitt." And immediately dude was like "well now hold on, I think I can hook you up. I just need to look for a code and that will get you a free repair." So anyway, new game will be collecting dust for a couple of weeks. Wii-U is officially the first nintendo product that I've ever owned that malfunctioned.
I also got A Link Between Worlds in too the same day. It's glorious.
Well, for one, I'm not aggressively attacking someone for liking something and just bashing without remorse... I'm a fan of both 360 and PS3. I like to think that I'm not one of those I was talking about, and never has anyone ever suggested that I may be until just now.

I'm torn between the PS4 and X-Box One. I have been leaning toward the PS4 for quite a while, but my current game library consists 100% of 360 games. Also, I really don't want to lose my Gamertag and all my progress and achievements, or friends.

I'm going with the X-box. I like the fact that it replaces everything else around my TV. PS4 will have better graphics down the road(like 5 years), but Xbox updates are better and Xbox live has always been better than PSN.
Went to Gamestop today to get my niece a game for Christmas... Super Mario Galaxy 2 (okay, I'll be wanting to play it maybe more than her when I visit next month), but they had a buy 2 get 1 free thing going on, so I ended up getting Disageae 3 for PS3 and Witcher 2 for 360 (been dying to play this). I'll have to start up Witcher 2 today at some point.

I have never said and/or thought the phrase "Gotcha, b*tch!" as much as I have since purchasing AC4. Also, just as expected, I progressed the story far enough to where the world opens up some at which point I have gone totally ADD and sailed around doing random side stuff. This is partially due to sailing being more fun than it has any right to be.

I got a 3DS with Pokemon Y and Animal Crossing: New Leaf for Christmas. Been having a ton of fun with both of them so far. Debating between Super Mario 3D, Ocarina of Time, and Super Mario 3D as my next purchase.

I thought the new pokemon game was great. Definitely the best game since gen 2 imo. I don't think anything will ever top gen 2

I'm a huge fan of the originals. I still carry my GBC and Pokemon blue with me almost everywhere. But I kind of gave up on the series after Silver/Gold (though I did really enjoy them). That said I've been having a blast with Y, definitely recommend it.
Buy A Link Between Worlds. Ocarina of Time and Donkey Kong Country Returns are great ports that you should also buy, but I cannot stress enough that A Link Between Worlds is the greatest game that has been made thus far for 3DS. 2nd favorite 3ds game is between mario kart 7 and Shin Megami Tensei IV. Also looking forward to Bravely Default.
Bastion, Braid, and Limbo are some really great PC games that I've played recently. I can't believe nobody on this board plays Starcraft 2. I am beyond addicted.

Yes I meant to list Link Between Worlds as an option, but I accidental typed Super Mario twice. I really considered Link Between Worlds today, guess I'll be making a trip back tomorrow. MK7 and Shin Megami are both on my list as well.

I have played a sick amount of Pokemon Y. If there are any specific mons that you want I can trade em to ya, I literally have just about caught then all.i feel like this post is more suited for the confessions thread.

I'll definitely take you up on that. There are a couple I'm really needing. I haven't been able to get the network to work since I got it though, hopefully it wont be down much longer.
