I told myself I would never play another Trials game, but I caved in and bought Trials Fusion. I better bring some wall putty just in case I rage a bit too hard.
For some of my friends, the jump to next gen wasn't in the games but in what the consoles offered. I may be a bit biased when it comes to the Xbox One, but I love controlling my media center with my tablet and watching Netflix/TV while having it snapped to the side of my game.

Picked up the Mario Kart 8 Wii U bundle the day after launch, i've had a blast with it thus far, haven't had as much fun plaing Mario Kart since 64. I've also picked up and restored several n64 games recently. Also have a Dreamcast in the mail. Life is good.
Haven't gotten anything from steam sale yet. I bought that new game called Shovel Knight that came out today on steam though. It rules. Like a mix of Castlevania, mega man, duck tales, and mario 3.
I wish I could get into video games. I used to play all the time as a kid - mostly NES and N64, and a couple NBA games on PS2. And Pokemon of course. But it just doesn't interest me anymore. Last year I forced myself to get into video games again because my bf was into them, and relationships have a marvelous way of getting you to think you enjoy things you really don't, but once we broke up I realized I didn't really care at all (I had been playing Animal Crossing and Pokemon Y). I want to like video games, just because they seem like fun for the people who enjoy them, but I just can't get into them. I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've played a PS3 or XBox 360 - and I've never even touched the new consoles. Maybe it's an attention span thing, but really Flappy Bird and 2048 have been the most exciting games in my life in recent memory. I might get Mario Kart for 3DS just so that I don't feel like buying the console was a total waste, but my interest will probably wane pretty quickly for that as well. Oh well! I'll grab a book.

Grabbed Skyrim: Legendary Edition on steam. Any recommendations for mods? I played Morrowind for years modding the hell out of it.
I'll get you a list of what I use soon. Some awesome ones that really enhance the graphics and stuff. Also some that make blood and limb dismemberment a bigger deal.
