I forgot to post it here. Got GTA V for PS4. My name is davemaynar. I don't have multiplayer bc I let my ps plus lapse. I should have that remedied soon though.
I honestly had given up hope on this series but I gave it a shot anyway out of boredom from not playing video games for the past few months and I was very surprised. I think the exo-suits, supply drops with loot armor, good ranked play system and varied weapon levels are some nice additions to the game that make it appealing and fun to play again.

Same here. I stopped getting them after the first black ops. I think they just needed to change it up more. I think it good, but no MW1 or MW2. Of corse now there is going to be about 5 years of the same damn thing until they change it up again.
Got my Wii U today with all my games. Getting Mario Kart 8 tomorrow. Unfortunately will have no time to sit down and enjoy it until Saturday afteroon, meh.

I believe they call that the Australian version . And yet, nobody bats an eye at Breaking Bad or Dexter or the Saw franchise. Funny, that ol' double standard...
For those who follow these things more closely, about how long does it usually take between the console release and the computer release? I don't play nearly enough videogames to justify the cost of a PS4 or a Steam subscription, but I can mow down little old ladies with the best of 'em.

Probably going to sell my Wii (old Wii, not the Wii U) and it's games. Don't ever play it. It's just a netflix box right now.
I couldn't tell you the last time I even looked at my Wii... only reason I still have it is because I have quite a few great downloaded games (namely Super Metroid, Ocarina of Time, Phantasy Star IV) that I have yet to complete. Still use my 360 a good bit for gaming and my PS3 for just about everything. Now that I'm thinking about it, I've used the shit out of my PS3 over the 5 years I've had it, and I'm honestly surprised it's still kicking (it stopped reading Blu Rays and PS3 games for a while in 2012, but a system restore somehow fixed that right up). Only thing I can tell about it that's not so great anymore is it sometimes takes a while for certain Blu Ray discs to load (Fox releases, I'm looking at you).

Same here. I have some classic Mario and Zelda games that keep me from selling/getting rid of my Wii, but its been collecting dust for a while. My PS3 has been my workhorse for the last 5-6 years and I will eventually move on to the PS4 when I get the funds.
I just started playing Far Cry 3 for PS3 a few days ago and it is so great. For a minute there, I started to believe that I grew a distaste for FPS games. I had no interest in the recent Battlefield and COD releases (mostly just a story line player, not multi), but Far Cry 3 has shown me that I actually love FPS games, I just don't like games that don't let you roam freely. It reminded me how much I enjoyed FC2 and now I can't wait to finish this game up and get FC4 from gamefly.

Sweet, I'll add ya. Scored a wii remote plus and two nunchunks for $21, Sears had the wii remote for $12 and the nunchunks for $4, went to Best Buy to get that price matched

I had been having a ton of issues playing Netflix on my PS4. It wasn't a problem for a while bc would just use my PS3 for it. My PS3 stopped sending video to the TV about a month ago, so I was stuck watching Netflix on the desktop because it was constantly buffering on the PS4 (like a 30 seconds of playback 15 seconds of buffering kind of way). I did some research on the internets and found that one of the issues is the DNS server the PS4 defaults to is shit. Several sites suggested changing it to the Google DNS server, so I finally got around to changing it this morning. I will have to do more testing, but the immediate result was high quality streaming on Netflix without the buffering I had been having right from the start and a download speed connection that was over four times as fast as it had been before I changed the DNS servers.
