Who was left out on there? I think the thing that made me so sure he was fake was that he DIDNT miss anyone? We're never 100% on these things, so I figured the lineup will drop and we'll be like "oh, sh*t, no Felice Brothers" or whatever.
He missed two clue answers, and added Gayngs sp? I think.

I know I'm late to the discussion, but here's my thing on Buffalo Springfield.
They have some great music, but when you boil it down they're simply a one-hit-wonder that no one would care about today had they not started the much more successful solo careers of Neil Young and Stephen Stills.
By that logic Robert Plant & the BOJ should headline, because that's the band that started the careers of Robert Plant and John Bonham before Zeppelin.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

The inclusion of the Twilight Singers sort of tipped me off that it was probably fake. I posted last night that they have tour dates ending right before Roo. Really not expecting them to be on the lineup at all, more of a "wouldn't it be nice" kind of thing. No one has mentioned them, other than that random speculation. And then suddenly they were in the lineup? It seemed to me that whoever was posting this stuff was just trolling the threads looking for names to throw into the mix.
"ashleycapps Ashley Capps Don't be distracted by self-proclaimed prophets who claim insider knowledge re #bonnaroolineup. The true line up will be revealed tomorrow."
I mean...the fact that Ashley Capps had to speak out about this says more than his actual words. There have been TONS of fake lineups out there, and not a peep from AC. Then, this one comes along, and he's making cryptic remarks about not believing insider information? I'd take his words with a grain of salt - what concert promoter is going to be like "YEP THATS THE LINEUP! WHAT A JOB BY THAT GUY TO LEAK IT!"
I still don't think it's real, but AC tweeting about it doesn't swing me. If anything, it makes me think there's something (no matter how small) to all this.
They also said something last year on Twitter about the fake poster we made on here. So it's not uncommon to point out that something's fake if it's getting a lot of attention (the poster we made was showing up on a lot of blogs)

Also - the twitter lineup had a TON of names that we've confirmed and mentioned tons of times on here. Then when we started pointing that fact out the twitter lineup began posting names on the lineup that were not mentioned around here as much.
It's possible they were reacting to what we were saying.

I am sticking with my theory that it was Soul Man....
I don't even know who you're talking about. But, whatever - back to Valentine's evening with the hubs. I'm a chick. Seriously. (just guessing Natedogg isn't).
Am I the only one who would be kind of underwhelmed by Buffalo Springfield? As much I love them, I only know a handful of songs. If we're going to have Neil, I would much much much rather have CSN&Y or him with Crazy Horse. I'll take him anyway I can get him, but I mean...
Here's the Buffalo Springfield setlist from Bridge School...
On the Way Home Rock & Roll Woman Child's Claim Do I Have to Come Right Out and Say It Go and Say Goodbye I Am a Child Kind Woman Burned For What It's Worth Nowadays Clancy Can't Even Sing Bluebird Mr. Soul Encore: Rockin' In The Free World
Aside from Rockin', how many people on the Farm are even going to know the words to more than 2 of those songs?
Thanks for the compliment, but nah, it wasn't me. I was too busy with work at the time to be tweeting anything.
So just to get this straight, his tweets stopped when you left, then started 3 minutes after you came back? I am sure you can see why this is a little suspicious along with the fact that more than anyone you have been making lists with the confirmed acts for about a month now. That have included Buffalo Springfield about 2/3rds of the time.

That's what I'm saying. I googled the statement in between the moments you typed and apparently, it's a haiku. I don't think I'm the type to go around quoting haikus. I'm more of a smart ass sarcastic quoting motherfucker who likes to dish but not take anything.
The thing is there is an act that everyone is putting on the lineups, that I am 90% sure is a red herring. When I see a lineup without that act, then I am going to believe it. Just remember canary traps can work both ways.

That's fine, but just to be straight, I've quit thinking about the lineup as I know what confirmed acts are going to be there and have a good general idea of who the other bands are going to be based on the touring schedules. I know I'm going to be more than satisfied. We could have KISS or Kanye or BEP as the Saturday night act and I would still be happy.

Interesting. If you wouldn't mind, would you share who that is after we get the lineup tomorrow? I am just curious.
I mean, fuck, they could be there for all I know. But to me, Massive Attack is on the same level as Daft Punk. In that I don't think they'll ever be at Bonnaroo. I want to be proven wrong.
