Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Massive Attack played Sasquatch last year and just completed a North & South America tour in the Fall. They've played ACL and Coachella too. It's completely within reason for them to play Bonnaroo, assuming they're touring (which is rare, I admit, but if they are it wouldn't be a surprise).

I would love to see the members of Buffalo Springfield there ... obviously I'm not salivating at the thought of hearing all of their original songs. I kind of assume they would do a lot of different stuff from all of their backgrounds, some collaboration, some covers, put together something that's more of a tribute to their impact on rock and roll than a recitation of their work from way back when.
If they were on the farm, combined with greg allman and someone even suggested steve miller was touring with allman ... and robert plant ... i mean I'm 25, a huge classic rock fan, I would go fracking nuts.
There is another band up there that will not be at 'roo (anyone can figure out which with some web sleuthing) that is a dead giveaway. I noticed it about a week ago, and just never brought it up.
I'm going with the assumption that maybe insider was fed bad info, and it's all going to be a surprise tomorrow. But, if it's not, I'm completely satisfied with what she did tell us.
I don't know who Buffalo Springfield is, though. So, whatever.

The only surprise will be if there's a headliner we don't know about playing Saturday and what incarnation of Dre/Eminem we're getting. Plus the undercard and major acts we don't know (Strokes and Massive Attack and other such tier acts). Judging from Insider being fuzzy about Saturday and Ashley Capps tweeting it looks like they didn't have Saturday figured out until recently, so...
If Arcade Fire isn't on the lineup I will be absolutely devastated.
same for me but with MMJ.
I said I wouldn't build up my expectations but I did it with MMJ thanks to Insider and the amount of festivals they are hitting up. I'll be upset if they're not there.
Jess won't say who he is talking about because he has no idea. He will wait until the lineup comes out and if a rumored act is missing he will say "told you so."

That is my basic plan....
I guess we will just have to wait until 3:00am to find out the truth.

jess are you talking about the strokes? or somebody that insider mentioned?
GL has a source that says The Strokes are playing. As far as I know that is the evidence but I have no reason to doubt it.
I'll say this real quick. When I was told this I was also told several other names that insider has since crossed off the list. Was I told The Strokes were playing? Yes. Has my "source" been wrong before? Yes. This time around if Neil isn't on the line up they were 100% wrong. And even then they had to be wrong, according to insider, because it would have been a last minute addition.
I'm hoping and praying that they are on the line up at this point ... simply so I don't have to put my tail between my legs.

Just because YOU don't know who MASSIVE ATTACK or BUFFALO SPRINGFIELD are, does NOT mean that they aren't huge bands.
Who are you people?
Pay no attention to Jambands67. He's mildly brain damaged, and thinks that the Dave Matthews Band is the greatest live act since the Grateful Dead circa 67-74. Seriously.
First I was just curious who massive attack was, I wasn't bashing them. Second I feel bad for you, I really do. Sometimes I feel like I waste too much time on here, then I look at your post count, and your comments that catch and correct every single detail someone may screw up on and realize that my wasting 30 minutes looking at this today is nowhere in comparison to your wasted life on these message boards. It's sad and incredibly pathetic I hope you realize there's a great big world out there some day.
