Hey all, I hope everyone is getting as pumped as I am for this now sold out event. If anyone has any extra tickets I have a friend who waited too long to grab his ticket and now needs one badly. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I can't wait to meet some of you and party down on the beach, boy-eee!
As usual I have procrastinated and missed out on hangout tickets. I need two 3 day passes. I've already payed for a condo but I don't have a ticket to the fest. I realize that's really stupid. Anyone that can help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I remember seeing a bunch of people selling their tickets for up to an $80 loss a couple of weeks ago. I bet they're all kicking themselves right about now. Good luck getting tickets! I wish I could help.
Unfortunately not going, but they did an incredible job with the schedule Saturday and Sunday as far as my preferences go. I would only want to see MMJ Friday, though...I guess that would just be a "getting drunk in a beach town" day.
OK so sounds like we'll do the cook out during/directly after WSP then move it to the Flora-Bama! I think IF they close it's 2 am or later...so plenty of time! ;D Since I'll have a chance to get back I'll start planning and preparing....is everyone good with Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Baked Beans and chips? If anyone wants to bring anything else the grill will be hot. And I will have limited margarita fixings and beer...BYOB if you want. Have blender, ice, glasses and and a VERY heavy handed bartender! And since the FLora-Bama is less than a mile from the house no worries!
If you haven't already and plan to comme send me or Holls a PM. We will get you directions and try to coordinate the food/beverage sitch. If you are using the shuttle, we can arrange to pick you up at Publix in Orange beach! Looking forward to seeing you all and let me know suggestions you have! ;D

how far away is your place and the florabama?
My place is in Orange Beach which is about two/three miles from the Flora-Bama. And everyone can crash at my place after Flora-Bama if you like though it may be rustic if we have a bunch but there are pillows, blanets and such we will make do! ;D
Also, my BFF just called me tonight and because her mother is undergoing a MAJOR life threatening illness right now she will NOT be able to come with me as planned. So if anyone is looking for a three day pass @ face value (granted it is at the highest price for face value) PM me and I will arrange it. She is devestated to miss this...but there are just some things more important.

Glad to hear this. We will be making a late night stop for drinks after the show. Im thinking the FloraBama is within walking distance of our condo, if not, always good to make friends with the shuttle driver. Seeing as to how they stop shuttle service at 4am I would expect the late night shows to end around 3 or so.
If I missed WSP, Primus, and Ween, I wouldn't even really consider myself to have been at the festival.
Ween is gonna be SICK! Saw Gener solo in NOLA Friday night. Met him on Frenchmen before the show as well, and he is looking good (albeit pretty thin), and sounded GREAT!

Tickets on ebay are outrageous! Kinda makes me want to pick up a few more for roo. I'd be going if I weren't in a wedding that weekend.... that's my biggest fear, a wedding or funeral mid june.
Ween is a band you have to see live to truly appreciate. Their albums are GREAT once you are into them, but they don't really represent how awesome they are live.
All I knew about them was the Push the Little Daisies song from Beavis and Butthead in like '93 and I was like "these guys suck!!".
They were at Voodoo 09 and I bailed on Eminem's weak set after 20 minutes and checked Ween out. Weirdos raging out in the mud was what I walked up on. I observed for about 10 minutes before I had to join in.

Count me in for BBQ after Widespread/Flora-Bama (I've always heard about that place but never been!). I still have your number so I'll be texting you for more info later today!

Exact same thing happened to my mother. She is enduring a hard battle and we really thought she would be between chemo cycles but no luck

Those two are givens. I would expect Lemmy during Foo Fighters, maybe Les Claypool during the foos if we get lucky. Unless primus sucks has to bail, I can see Les doing something with Tony Clifton late nite.
Ween (at least Gener) will be at Hangout all weekend so he could possibly join in with anybody...(talked to him on Frenchmen last Friday). Gener w/ Primus would be sick.
Cee Lo is free all weekend, he could sit in with a lot of people. FLips maybe? I know MGMT just played with them at Beale fest so it could happen.
