Im going to see these guys in louisville in a few days and I am super stoked to see em. Would love to see these guys on the farm but i just don't think the whole crew is going to make it together. I do think that it is likely that we might get one or more members on the farm. ( Ghostface; the RZA; and Rakwon are all releasing stuff soon.) So, if we couldn't get the whole crew who would you want to see there? Who do you think is the best fit for the roo?
I wouldn't mind seeing them. But I think I would want the whole crew. There coming to my area in a bit, I was half tempted to go but I hear that there known for some of them not showing up cause they have better things to do..but if they were there I would definitely have to check em out
My hope for the new year is that you learn how to either a) use the search function, or b) learn how to read the first page of the forum, because we've already got a thread where this could go.

RZA isn't currently touring with them. Be prepared to wait a while for the show to start.
For Roo, I would prefer Ghost or Rae, or Wu Massacre. The whole group together on stage can be a bit of a clusterfuck. Its still good, but at times just seems like too many people onstage jumping around and coming in and out of songs. And you never know for sure who is going to be there, even if it is billed as Wu-Tang.
^^I see your point, but even if it is kind of chaotic, I'd still like to see it. One of my favorite things about the Wu Tang Clan as a whole is how each rapper plays off the others and picks up the energy when one seems to be running out of steam.
Has anyone seen any Wu-Tang or individual shows lately?
Not really that recent, but I saw Method Man and Redman right around this time last year. Redman kinda sucked, but Method Man brought it. I'd like to see him with the rest of the Wu instead.
Hmmm sounds like they are bringing it almost every show! I listened to a lot of Wu tang between 96-98 and to be honest i really haven't kept up with what they have been up to since then. I think Meth and Red are probably the most likely combination if any come.
Yeah, I saw this shit yesterday. Wish RZA was there but it was still incredible to see all of Wu Tang on stage together with ODB's son as well. I wasn't going there expecting much, but once Wu came out they blew my expectations away. The opening acts were HORRIBLE, though.

im down to see them at the farm but what slot would they be in?
They could go a couple different places. Late night in a tent seems likely. They could close a tent during the afternoon. Or play on a stage during the afternoon.
Probably. There are a couple time slots I could see them in, but given their penchant for being late, its probably safest to put them as the last to perform.
I hate to say it, but I honestly see them in an afternoon stage set. Like Damian Marley and Nas from last year. Although it would be awsome if they landed LN anywhere. (possibly super late a la LCD from last year.)
i have seen wu-tang 3 times, and i would say that if your not a big fan of wu its not that great of a show. but if you are its awesome! not sure if everybody at the farm would get down but redman and method man i think would be crazy. there live show is insane! saw them at rock the bells 08 and it got real!

i would love this. i definitely could see them being in the afternoon on what stage like damian marley and nas, but i'd certainly prefer a late night set. although ln sets generally have the most conflicts, so afternoon could be good
Though my favorites on the posse cuts are Deck and GZA, I'd go with Rae and Ghost due to chemistry and extensive collaboration. Also pretty much the two best Wu solo artists, with GZA a close third.
