if i have to be in another run-off...i think we would get more answers if i was up against mike d. he just seems to be trying hard to set me up, and i don't see how none of you guys see that. higgi and i always vote for each first round, all you guys know that and if you look at the vote count you would see i only changed my vote to save myself.

The Referee refuses to recognize that vote, for the time being.
We had a handful of votes come in on Monday, and I suspect some players haven't checked in since the weekend. I don't care what everyone decides; I just hope that everyone casts their vote based on all the information available. Since we had a handful of post-weekend votes, this was a three-day weekend for some & given that some players are possibly at work right now, I'm going to extend the voting/discussion period for five more hours.
At which point, Kel, you will have to vote for someone if you haven't already. Preferably not yourself. I'm not one to condone the practice (at least not this early on in a game), and think it could be detrimental to the game for other players, so I'm trying to prevent that from occurring on my watch.
Five hours from now is 8:30pm. I work at 9pm. I intend to close voting before then.

he is so set on setting me up and i know i am innocent, so that makes me think he is mafia setting me up. i have explained my reason for my votes multiple times and no one gives any feedback.

Well, right now nobody seems 100% innocent, and nobody seems 100% guilty either. But your flip-a-coin method of decision making last round really didn't sit well with me, especially not for a deciding vote. In that situation, I think most people would really try to study and analyze what each player had said and done to figure out if they were guilty, and not just leave it up to chance. The way I see it, there's only three real explanations for why a person would vote like that in that scenario:
1. If they were mafia and knew both people were innocent, so it wouldn't matter which one they voted for. 2. If they were inspector and knew that one of the two people in the run-off was mafia, but didn't want to reveal themselves until they had a second name. 3. If they were mafia and knew one of the people in the run-off was also mafia, but wanted to create the illusion of uncertainty.
Just my $.02. I'm not saying you couldn't be a confused non-inspector townsperson, but your actions seem to belie your words.
Thanks for explaining that. To be honest, I really had no idea of who to vote for. No one looked guilty, it was the first round. There really wasn't much to go on, you know? That was the only way I could vote for one of them without being preconceived, if that's the right word.
I'm interested to see who Mafia chose to whack, tho.
I'm not entirely opposed to voting oneself dead. However, Day Two is ridiculously early for that to be necessary. I admit I exercised referee's discretion there. In the future, I think we ought to make a rule disallowing that before, say, Day Four.
