Sorry! It's been kind of a crazy week. We found out Tuesday that someone was fired from my office on Friday, so I've been going kind of full-throttle here (I'm on my lunch break now, but it's the first one I've taken this week) and then I'm too tired to think by the time I get home. I've been keeping an eye on things (not that that was hard given how little has been said), but I haven't had time to contribute much.
Kel, I get what you've said about Mike D being defensive, but I'm not really sure he was as defensive as you made him out to be. It's hard in those first couple of rounds to come up with a reason to vote for someone, and he was definitely stretching, but I'm not sure I'm convinced he's mafia. But, then, there's so little else to go on that I am really not sure of any other way to go.

Yeah, actually, looking back, it was him that called you defensive, but I kind of thought you were both being defensive.
As for who I think, I don't know. I guess there could be an argument that if not Mike D, then you, and if not you, then Mike D, but I don't know how much stock I put in that. I've seen two innocent players get into similar arguments in the first couple of rounds before. On the other hand, you could both be guilty and have been putting distance between the two of you so that if somebody knew about one of you they wouldn't suspect the other.
As for everybody else, the only thing that stands out to me at all is that HGH has said almost nothing of substance. She responded when I asked her why she voted for jhammett, but she just agreed with what I said. Other than that, she's mostly just voted. I don't know. That's about all I've got, and it's not much.

I presume you're not using a Droid? That was one of the first things I checked on my initial downloading spree when I got mine three months ago... there wasn't one then, and there isn't one now.
I'm a bit clueless now myself. I really expected either Kel or myself to be whacked last night. It does rise a little suspicion that were both still here, but I may have been going in the wrong direction. She is not off of the hook yet in my eyes, but until I see something come up that will lead us in the right direction, I will return a vote to noage.

^^well, in all fairness, it's not unheard of for the mafia to whack one of their own to throw off suspicion. You of all people should know this... *ahem* ;D

That's because there's been nothing to say. I feel like this is the slowest game of Mafia I've ever played. And also, if you look at past games, you'll see I'm always a quiet player regardless of whether I'm mafia or a townsperson. In fact the one time I was mafia, I made more noise than when I was innocent - so, go figure.
Right I don't know who to be suspicious of, because no one has done anything glaringly obvious or sketchy - we really haven't had solid evidence for going one way or the other. I've had my doubts of course, but there's nobody I'm 100% sure of. That's why I've been kinda quiet this game. There just really isn't very much to go on. I was actually beginning to suspect Bek until she got whacked - now I don't know who to look to. I think we must've knocked off at least one mafia already, otherwise there would have been a stronger mafia presence and clearer voting patterns. Kel and Mike D are both on my radar screen. Mike does seem defensive, which has certainly raised my suspicions, but not without reason - Kel is just being so accusatory. I've played mafia about 4 or 5 times now, and I've never seen a townsperson act so sure of their choice, especially that early in the game. I'm going to have to cast my vote for her... for the time being at least.
The only thing that seems out of place to me so far is Kel's numerous vote changes, but later on it was to save herself. Her first vote was for higgi, then jham and higgi both vote Kel, both jham and higgi are dead now. At least in the games I have played, both players in the first runnoff tend to die, one by vote, the other by mafia. This could be a stretch, but it is all I have to go on so far.
I don't play that careless. I'm insulted you'd even think I would do something so dumb!
In my opinion, this seems a little over the top for your first vote of the round. I have typically noticed that overly defensive folks are guilty (in internet game such as this though could be different, as there are no facial expressions or body language to go off of too). With this, combined with my earlier statement, I firmly stand by my vote now. I know were waiting on Bacon's response to his vote and there could be something else later in the round that causes me to change my vote. I am just doing what I can and explain what I am doing the best I can.
edit: I may have also misinterpreted what you said and how you said it, if thats the case I do apologize
I honestly don't see anything over the top about my post. I think the other players would see my vote change was to save myself and it seems to me you're grasping at straws. It looks to me like you're trying to make look guilty, for whatever reason and for that reason I am voting you.

you, mike d and FFYM are the lowest posters. i always use that as a way to see who is mafia, and in most cases i am right on one or two.

It's the app for the iPhone (that doesn't make me a hipster does it?) I can use the browser too, but the app makes it so much easier to view everything on a phone and posting replies is a breeze. Only thing it doesn't do is allow me to see my smileys moving, just a stationary pic.

In the games I've played before with them, Jack has always been quiet and FFYM has shown up at the ends of rounds and thrown in a vote. So, their quietness struck me as less suspicious than yours. As for Mike, while he has very few posts, he started out trying to talk and justify his reasoning and ended up immediately getting into it with Kel. So, that's why I referred to you and not them.

i am the only one really posting, so if that makes me look guilty then so be it. i voted for myself because no one was listening or responding to me. i encouraged you guys to vote for mike d. but everyone is ignoring my post and going the wrong route, so when the townspeople lose DO NOT blame me.
