I'm going with Paul Simon as my final answer...the clue is saying Cecilia's dress code IS sheer and if you know the lyrics to the Simon and Garfunkel song you know she sleeps around which would imply lingerie as in sheer clothing. Paul Simon was heavily rumored as a headliner last year and it didn't happen. Plus, he has an album being released this spring. Don't over think it guys.

Clue #1 Apollo Sunshine Clue #2 Paul Simon
I don't buy it. The lyrics don't make any reference to her clothing, and you can't just say "unfaithfulness=lingerie=sheer". Plus, I really don't think they'd put the title of the song in the clue. It's just too easy.

you say it is "just too easy" jesus but I figured out the first clue in literally 15 minutes, i've never heard of the band, i figured out the apollo portion of the clue, then googled bands with apollo in their title and apollo sunshine popped up, i clicked on their website, their website said they had played at roo before, and sunshine made sense with the last part of the clue, that was "just too easy" if you ask me

Has it been confirmed that Apollo Sunshine is the answer to the first clue? I've been out of town for the past 24 hours without a computer, so I haven't been able to keep up. Last I checked, people were sure it was Gregg Allman.

they were sure it was Radiohead, Muse, and Elton John too...Apollo Sunshine just wasn't as an appealing answer as they hoped for but as I said when I originally guessed it...they aren't going to release a headliner clue first, it builds suspense

Sorry, not buying the "my answer's right because their answers were wrong" logic. It's as good a guess as any, and a better guess than most, but it's still a guess. Personally, I wouldn't be taking the credit for getting that one right just yet.

Your answer hasn't been confirmed as correct. Hell, we don't even know if we were on the right track with the Apollo logic. It sounds like a good guess, but its still just a guess until we get a confirmation. So don't be getting all high and mighty just yet

And I'm sure you figured out the apollo part of the clue all by yourself..Minus the fact that it's probably mentioned on at least 20 pages of the 47 page thread for the first clue.
I just did some googling, and it appears as though the rules for capitalizing after a colon are not set in stone. Some people always capitalize afters colons and some don't. Here, it is unclear if the word is capitalized for any reason other than grammatical preference by the author. At least that's how I see it.
Edit: Here's a link to a page about when to capitalize after a colon. There seems to be more to it than I thought. Kind of confusing, actually. grammar.ccc.commnet.edu/grammar/marks/colon.htm
I think you're right. The first section for the girl's dress code is "Jumper". "Jumper" is a song by Third Eye BLIND.
If the suggestions regarding blindness are correct and this has something to do with it, then it most likely would mean... Third Eye Blind. Final Answer.

sorry no offense...i just don't think it works. If you are using "Cecilia's" to get to the school-celicia's dress code then why would you need to use the blind reference to cecilia as well?

X-Ray Specs played a comeback show in 2008 and had a dvd release in November 2009 but have apparently inactive since. Sheer could refer to the x-ray and Cecelia's wardrobe could be glasses or specs. Just a thought...any takers?

Working off the sheer being "total, pure" definition could it work out to be "Pains of being pure of heart"? They will be touring the states up into May but nothing announced beyond that.
