I think walk don't run, to get this clue means that we are thinking too hard, stretching too far and not looking directly at what is being presented to us...just my $0.02, leave it on the ground if you don't want it.
It's referring to a song by smurf Dale!! Again, dreaming. But having surf rock god would be sa-weet!
Not Dick Dale, The Ventures. Similar sound, different artists. "Walk Don't Run." I mentioned this already, but I'm not sure if it has much to do with our clue.
Yeah he tweeted no correct answers have been said for Clue #1...but he commented on the Clue #2 thread saying, "walk, don't run." But I'm just assuming no ones guessed right for clue 2 otherwise I think he would've tried to steer us back to that correct answer.
Ok, GC hasn't seen any correct answers. So, Cecilia's dress code combined with walk, don't run... Take time to smell the roses. St. Cecilia is a variety of English rose. It's colour or dress is apricot. (Roses are often cut or sheared for pruning and display.) Electric Apricot? This would be Les Claypool's 20th appearance on the Farm? "Sheer" would mean Claypool sans Primus?

I agree, I feel like if we had gotten it (guessed Cut Copy and Scissor Sisters pretty early on) that he would have taken us that direction or made mention or I assume itrainmonkeys that's what you are taking from this clue?

WHOA WHOA WHOA! check this out! a simple google search of "cecelia scissor music"
sixth page down...
"After the release of "Scissors Cut", Simon & Garfunkel reunited for a concert in New York's Central Park. The concert was so successful, the duo decided to embark on a year-long world tour. During the tour, tensions mounted between the pair and they split again after it was completed.
In May, 2007, Simon & Garfunkel sang together again at a concert commemorating Paul's receipt of the Library of Congress' first Gershwin Award, recognizing contributions to the popular song as an art form. Simon also embraced Garfunkel, recognizing an award-winning and best-selling musical partnership that dates to the 1950s, but has been marked by long spells of estrangement. "My dear friend and partner in arguments, Art Garfunkel," Simon said before they launched into "Bridge Over Troubled Water" and "Cecilia".

Remove the part about Roses being sheared but add sheer=less to get Les.
Right but don't forget that the Walk don't run isn't in the clue whatsoever. so had GC not said anything, we wouldn't be talking about pool's, walking or anything. We can't treat the "walk don't run" like it's a separate clue. You gotta tie it back to the original clue at some point.

Yeah that could work...I was just referring to the Pool =Claypool part. There's no way you could get that just using the original clue. But anyways, it's not like I have any better theories at the moment.

I agree with you, I feel like the first half should refer to Primus, Frog Brigade, Claypool or something else relative but perhaps the Electric Apricot is enough plus Les...I am trying to tie the first half back to Claypool or Pool or Clay now.
