The New Pornographers have a song titled "Entering White Cecilia", which was written by Dan Bejar. Mr. Bejar is perhaps better known as Destroyer, which has a new album out. He's touring in March and April, but no dates are announced after that.
If Cecilia were being used to refer to someone who is blind, then their dress code might be glasses. If you apply "sheer" you get "sheer glasses", then maybe "see-through glasses" and then "x-ray glasses".
That might be too much, but who knows. Does anybody know of a band or song that this might refer to? So far I only have
The Emotrons Eric Coleville Band Freddie and the Screamers The Flametrick Subs
...but I know nothing about these bands or even if they're together. They all just have songs named "x-ray glasses"

There's a book by Alexander Pope called "Essay on Man", in Epistle II titled "To A Lady of the Characters of a Woman" there's a line that says: "Or dressed in smiles of sweet Cecilia shine, with simpering angels, palms, and harps divine"
the name Cecilia means blind dress code for the blind would be glasses sheer, as most people use it can mean outright, like in something like sheer brilliance thus sheer glasses would be just the glasses

then again, it could me sheer as in thin or transparent so it could refer to lenses.

Well, enjoy going in circles for the next three days at least.
He only added the smiley face because it would have sounded rude if he didn't. You can legitimately read it as "Thought u guys were supposed to be good @ this?" if you take away the sugar coating.
